“A confession?” I asked him. He sighed.

“What is it?” I asked, and he sighed more.

“Well, you know, you should go and find Summer”

“Don’t tell me that you did this purposefully” I said in a really strict tone. “Just don’t”

“There was a reason…” he whispered. “The child wasn’t safe--”

“You know what?” I cut him in between and made a disgusting face. “I… I hate you for this. How can you do this to her? Couldn’t you have just told her the truth? I-- you are unbelievable!” I laughed pathetically.

“and Max” I turned to him. “I am glad you are back but I really can’t believe it is you”
