A Day in the Life of the Goddess

Feng Lanchu met Professor Wang Bingbing, who held his briefcase on her way back to the office.

"Professor Feng, you're back. How were your finds over the past three months?"

"It was alright. I finally managed to make a trip to a distant place."

"There are many flowering plants worthy of research in the Chuanshu Nature Reserve. It is a pity that I had already brought a team there some time ago. Otherwise, we would be able to go together, and the students would have a blast together."

"It is quite a pity. Let's form a research team next time."

"It's a deal."

"Yep."

"Right, did you see any snub-nosed monkeys?"

"Didn't see any live ones, but we found lots of traces of their activities in quite a few places."

"That's quite a pity. What are your plans for the next few days?"

"I'm going to do some biopsies with the students."

"Oh, you're gonna be busy then. Right, Mr. Zhong was looking for you yesterday. Why don't you go and look for him later."

"He was looking for me? What for?"

"He didn't say what exactly. But it seems to be something to do with a project."

"A project?" Feng Lanchu's calm expression was swept away and replaced by one of excitement. Her beautiful eyes shone with bright light.

"I don't know the details either. You can go and ask him about it later." Wang Bingbing was dazzled by the beautiful woman in front of him.

"Alright. Thanks."

Feng Lanchu patted Wang Bingbing's thin shoulders happily. Wang Bingbing's face grew red, and he waved his hand shyly.

"You're welcome. Go ahead with your work. I... I shall return to my office."

"Alright. Thanks, thanks. Let's help each other out in the future."

Feng Lanchu sent him out of the office enthusiastically.

Wang Bingbing had gotten to talk with his goddess again today, and they had had such a long conversation! Professor Wang Bingbing was in a great mood as he walked out of the office. He had gotten one step closer today.

However, plainly speaking, Feng Lanchu was a straight-A student with a high IQ and low EQ. She could not tell that Professor Wang Bingbing was trying to pursue her. She just thought that Professor Wang Bingbing was an amiable person.

Her students all arrived shortly after, and Feng Lanchu organized everyone to enter the laboratory.

"I believe that everyone has learned a lot in the three months that we have spent observing wild pandas in Chuanshu. This month, your tasks are to categorize the samples we took and place them in slides before using the microscope to record your observations and records. Lab work is not any easier compared to outdoor research. Get going."

"Alright."

Feng Lanchu's five students were all very tall and large boys. Even though they did not have striking appearances, their white lab coat did give them some additional points.

Of course, when the boys took out various feces, hair, skin, and tissue samples and such, the scene did not look as good as before.

"Who would have thought that biological research students would observe sh*t every day?" One of the boys said self-deprecatingly, causing everyone to laugh out loud.

Feng Lanchu could not help but laugh as well.

"So what if it's sh*t. We can analyze the animals' digestive systems, health, and habitat. We can analyze their numbers, hereditary structure, and build a picture of the local ecosystem, food chain, food web, energy flow, material flow, and get other useful information from this."

"Professor Feng, tell us more about this." The students were all very excited when they heard Feng Lanchu's speech.

They loved research.

"We pick up excrements from wildlife animals to analyze what they eat. This research method does not harm animals and is also the most widely used research method currently. We can categorize them into three different categories- herbivores, omnivores, and carnivores through animal excretions. The shapes and composition of every type of excrement are different. You don't have to worry about the theory just yet. Your task for today is to categorize these items and make them into slides. You will only analyze particular cases later."

"Alright."

Feng Lanchu played the role of a virtuous good wife at home. But at work, she was very charming. Even though she was young, she was very experienced and was very knowledgeable in her field. Furthermore, she was very decisive and able to adapt to changes very quickly. Many straight-A students were awed by her, and they loved attending her classes.
