I arrived in Florida with Adam, and we went down to the coast. Seth was raising the dead for a small crew on our ship. I saw dead Athenians raise from the ground. In the mix, I could see Odysseus. His hair was dull gray, and he carried an old spear made from oak and an ancient long bow. The dead walked on to an old Greek ship where Olivia and Penny were waiting.
Penny got excited at the sight of the Athenians, and Olivia barked orders. Mino was keeping lookout as an eagle flew above him. I went to Seth as Adam stepped on board.
"Hey sis. You know what ship this is?" Seth asked.
I looked at the ship, and recognized it immediately, the Argo.
I looked back at Seth "You didn't." I said.
He nodded and smiled. I looked on board and saw Jason and Odysseus barking orders at the undead crew taking over for Olivia as she walked to the helm. Unlike Jason and Odysseus the rest of the crew were skeletons in armor, and their weapons were rusted. I stepped on board with Seth and the last of the undead crew. I sat on a stool on the deck, and Odysseus walked up to me.
"Hello Mary. Nice to see you here." Odysseus said. Odysseus' form was solid, and he kept his weapons close.
"You too Odysseus. Never thought you'd be at sea again, huh?" I said.
He shook his head "I thought I'd die before going out to sea again....well I guess I was right." He said looking at his hands.
"I'm pretty sure Jason thought the same, but sadly he's tied to this ship." I said.
I wasn't wrong. Soul tied items are bound to the person, they are one. If we brought Jason back the Argo would come with him, but if we brought the Argo back Jason would come along.
Odysseus walked around the ship doing final inspection, and then Hermès stepped on board. He was dressed in a delivery mans outfit, and was holding a chest. He set it down on the deck, and I realized what was taken from him. He lost his staff. He made it smaller and clipped it on his outfit, but it was missing.
"I packed six never ending water bottles, Ambrosia, three weeks worth of rations for ten people, mailing stickers, arrows, and I have a special delivery for Mary from your father." He said taking out a dagger.
I took it and examined the dagger. It's hilt was marble with obsidian strengthening it. The blade was very special. Celestial bronze with a blood magic finish. I could feel the torment of souls in it. I looked at Seth, and he tossed me a scabbard for it. The scabbard matched the blades hilt beautifully. I sheathed the blade, and put it on my belt. One touch of blood magic blades, and your soul would be cut just as bad as the wound the celestial bronze gives. Hades kids used them often when they had trouble raising the dead, which I did. I tossed Hermès two gold coins
"Thank you Hermès." I said, Hermès nodded, and walked off the ship.
Odysseus and Jason did final call, and final preparations. I stood at the helm with Adam, Olivia, Penny, Seth, and Mino.
"Ready guys?" I asked.
Olivia nodded and said "Ready to move us to our destination.".
Seth started commanding the crew, and Penny looked at me.
"Thank you for bringing me along. I couldn't last another day not exploring." Penny said.
"Well. My mythology is rusty, and I could use the extra brain power." I said.
Penny nodded. The boat suddenly lurched forward, and we were off. We were going to what most mortals call 'The Bermuda Triangle', but what demigods know as the Sea of Monsters.
