CHAPTER XIII:Currently Wishing Medea Was Here.

The sea was calm as glass. Of course it wouldn't stay that way for long. The silver moon reflected off the sea, as the rowers moved the ship forward.

Olivia stared out at the ocean as if looking forward to our adventure, or just enjoying be so close to home. We all took turns changing out of our uniforms. Olivia wore a cyan tank top, khaki shorts, and green flip flops. To top it off, she wore her gold trident pendant. Olivia's blonde hair moved perfectly in the wind. Penny walked up to me wearing her standard clothes as well grey shirt and jeans, black boots, and an owl bracelet.

"Thank you again Mary for including me in this quest." Penny said smiling.

Penny's grey eyes sparkled with joy, and her hair light brown hair flailed about in the wind. I smiled slightly and nodded.

I continued to watch the sea as Mino's eagle flew down the perch on the railing on the side of the ship. He walked up with Seth. Seth wore a denim jacket, a black undershirt, blue jeans, and white shoes. He looked like a normal teenager. Even with his unnaturally black hair and dead grey eyes. Mino on the other hand, looked like a kid you'd see in hot topic. Black shirt with a lightning bolt, black shorts, and black adidas shoes. Other than the scabbards and arrow quivers, we looked like normal teenagers.

The ship went through the ocean, cutting through waves, smoothly.

"Does everyone here have Poseidon's favor?" Seth asked jokingly.

The group nodded, and Seth smiled as he went below deck to manage the dead. Mino walked away to be lookout, but Penny stayed behind.

"What are out odds of surviving this quest?" Penny asked.

"Realistically? None." I answered.

"Figured. We're getting sent out here to groups of islands to look for something we don't know anything about that could be anywhere." Penny said.

"Don't forget that this isn't the only location we have to go to." I said messing with my necklace.

Penny leaned against the railing and sighed, "Who could even raid a vault of the gods?" She asked.

"A demigod, another god, a smart enough monster...." I said trailing off.

Penny nodded and looked down thinking. "A minor deity or rustic god....." She said.

"Like Pan, or Janus." I answered.

"Oceanus, an agent of Atlas." She continued.

"Titans and their agents are a definite no. The gods would've definitely sensed them." I answered.

Penny nodded and stared out at the ocean. "Your hair reflects the moonlight perfectly." Penny said trying to change the topic.

"Thanks." I said smiling.

The ship continued to row, and I saw it. After hours of sailing, I saw the mythical Charybdis and Scylla off in the horizon. They were waiting patiently for us in two, calm, twin mountains at the beginning of a strait.
