I dreamt I was in a forest covered in snow. The freezing cold bit my skin, and seemingly cut through my jacket like an ice covered knife. I looked out and saw Luna in a tree sitting next to Adam.
Adam wore a sun yellow jacket, and khaki pants with brown work boots. That had to be the first time I'd seen him out of his school uniform. Luna on the other hand was wearing a outfit that was similar to Artemis', in fact it was an exact replica of Artemis' outfit, but it was missing the silver stag on the right sleeve.
Luna's hair was a shiny wavy brown with some bright silver streaks that glowed in the shade. She also had bright silver eyes like her mother. Luna wore a white crystal necklace, and had a crescent moon and star pin in her hair. She looked exactly like Artemis except for a few facial features, like her eye shape and jaw.
Adam and Luna were talking indistinctly, and I looked around the area a bit more. Women were spread out, all with different hunting uniforms and silver streaks in their hair, practicing archery and hand-to-hand combat. This was Artemis' reserve, training place, and home of the huntresses.
I turned around blinking, and I was surrounded by coral. In front of me was a large, partly ruined, castle shrouded in seaweed and coral towers. It was made of stone that was weathered, broken, and cracked. Guards milled about the tall walls. Very few wore rebreathers with a small tank placed on their left leg, but the ones who did had training to stay underwater for days if needed. They could fight, walk, swim, and breathe like a kid of Poseidon for a limited time with all the training they get put through.
I swam around, and caught sight of Olivia. She was fighting several men in Roman armor. All of them had dull, fragile, coral swords with wooden handles. They were using Atlantian training swords. They broke easily, but it was a good price to pay for not killing your opponent.
Olivia hit her sword against her opponents helmets, and it sent him to the floor knocking him out. However, it also broke her sword. Another opponent came at her, and swung. Olivia caught his wrist, and forced his head down to her knee knocking him out as well. She grabbed his sword, and blocked a hit immediately.
Olivia was a great fighter, and she was quick. The water also helped her movements. A skilled kid of Poseidon could learn to use the water to sense danger around them, and even strengthen their attacks. She used it wisely to quickly dispatch her opponents, but not exhaust herself until the fight was over. That skill was why Olivia was the third in command of Neptune's Blessed, and a prized kid of Poseidon.
I turned around blinking again, and that was the worst part. I saw Mino on a broken ground. Heads, limbs, and piles of dust encircled him. His shield was dented, and his sword was dulled. He had recently gotten out of fight, with gods knows what. His clothes were torn, and his skin was scratched and bruised. His hair was matted down with his blood, sweat, or maybe ichor. His skin was covered with ash and dust as well. It was about as much as I could expect from a few days in Tartarus.
The look in Mino's eyes was haunting. He looked broken. Like his soul had shattered into a million pieces. He looked up, and I turned around to see a large dark figure at least fifteen feet tall and shrouded in shadows. I felt an overwhelming presence of pure evil that was maddening.
I woke up in a cold sweat, and shivering. Elysium went from a warm paradise to freezing cold in what was probably minutes.
Seth ran outside with his sword and shield "we need to go! Now!" He said.
"Got it!" I said, getting up without a second thought.
He ran through my room, and I followed him while grabbing my sword and dagger. Gods I hope we weren't under attack already.
