CHAPTER XXXVI:The Great Tantrum Blizzard Of Persephone.

I ran alongside Elysium's guards with Seth next to me, down Elysiums flowery path. We followed the path to the gates where I saw Zeus arguing with Persephone. They were both in their godly form. Zeus still towered above Persephone though.

Persephone's dress reflected her mood, and hair reflected it just as well. The flowers in her hair had turned into thorny vines growing through her hair catching slightly on it. The color had also darkened from her sun yellow blonde, to chestnut brown. The flowers woven into her dress were brown and sickly, slowly dying and withering away in her dress. Her whole look went from bright and happy child, to an old dying tree.

"They aren't staying here! I will not have more of the uninvited living in my realm!" Persephone yelled, her whiny tone echoed through my ears.

"Persephone, it's just until the threat is no longer evident. I promise they'll stay out of the way, and only come out if necessary." Zeus said.

I could tell he was trying to reasonable, for once, but Persephone wasn't having it. First me living here, then the quest group being allowed in, and now some people Zeus wanted to keep here for the war. She was not having a good time whatsoever.

"This is my realm! I'm already being forced to make compromises! I draw the line here father!" Persephone yelled at Zeus.

I was honestly half expecting Persephone to stomp her foot, and tear up, but she stayed firm in her argument. Which was such a horrible mistake on her part. Zeus' eyes sparked with electricity, and Persephone backed down quickly like an injured animal.

"They will stay here. You will be a gracious host. And I will not have this argument with you again. AM. I. CLEAR." Zeus commanded.

His caring tone was gone, and was replaced by a harsh one that sent static though the air.

"Y-yes sir." Persephone muttered out making the gates to Elysium open.

Five demigods came through the gates dressed in Roman armor with stormy gray clothes underneath. They all had bronze shields strapped to their arms and carried pure steel spears. They also held their helmets in their left hands, which all had platinum colored plumes, lined with a golden color, from bearing the Roman mark of Zeus.

Jupiter's Strikers, the most elite Roman legion of the demigod military. A group of five Strikers was all it took to keep a hundred enemies at bay. In the front leading the group through was Emily 'Striker' Valdez, youngest legion captain in demigod history.

Emily had long midnight black hair, and light blue eyes. She marched along the road past all of the guards of Elysium, with her team following behind her, without so much as a glance towards Elysium's guards.

Leonidas dismissed all of the guards, and walked off himself once it was clear there was no threat to Elysium. Seth and I walked away with the groups of guards back to Persephone's castle.

Elysium was still freezing cold, and the temperature seemed to drop at a steady rate. It felt like the snow covered forest in my dream when I saw Luna and Adam. Seth walked to the kitchen for a quick snack, and I went back to my room to curl up into my blanket to warm up. I got into my room I saw Penny waiting there reading a book.

"How'd you get here?" I asked sitting down on my bed, and pulling my covers over my legs

"Hermès sent me here with a packaging sticker." Penny answered.

I nodded, opened a drawer on my nightstand, and grabbed a book on history. I laid down, pulling my blankets over me, and opening my book. I read through it as a storm formed outside.

The wind howled viscously, and the vines lining the outside of my doorframe closed blocking the balcony entrance. The room warmed up quickly following the vines closing. I continued reading the Greek history book I had grabbed from my nightstand, and listened to the storms howl outside.
