CHAPTER LXVI:The Rematch Of The Millennia.

I had moved away from Khaos and was watching an amazing fight. Hades was fending off Khaos' attacks with his weapon that sounded off every time a sword hit the metal. Probably because Khaos' weapons were what was called 'Obsidian Steel' while Hades' was celestial bronze covered in gold. Obsidian steel was similar to celestial bronze, they were both used in forges on Olympus. The purpose behind obsidian steel was the harming of mortals, it could still do damage to gods though.

Khaos swung her twin blades with black jagged pieces of metal sticking out from the blade. One of the blade handles were wrapped in red leather and had onyx at the bottom of the handle, the other one was wrapped in black leather with ruby at the bottom. Black and blood red were the colors of Khaos, it was supposed to represent the void and negative energy.

"Do you miss this form Hades?" Khaos asked.

Hades looked pained. "I will end you! If not today, then someday!" He yelled.

The fight continued and then magic started being used. Khaos lit entire fields on fire with black and red flames. Hades appeared behind Khaos and slashed her back. Ichor sprayed down and black flowers grew where it touched. Khaos stepped forward and fell on the ground.

"Bastard!" Khaos yelled.

Khaos stood back up and turned to face Hades, the fight continued with the roles switching. Hades went on the offensive while Khaos went on the defensive. He swung his weapon and every time the weapons met the sounded off with a sickening noise. I've heard metal hit metal and metal scrape metal, but this was different. It sounded warped and unnatural, similar to a sheet of plastic being held in a storm. This noise was worse, and probably louder as well. Khaos' swords hit Hades' weapons, he quickly disarmed Khaos and kicked her down.

"You're still weak Khaos!" Hades yelled as he held his hand up.

I woke back up in the abandoned building, and it was literally abandoned. Everyone was gone and the noise outside wasn't there anymore. On the upside, it was darker outside. Khaos had kept me asleep for awhile. I stood up and looked around.

"Owl Eyes?" I called out.

I got no answer, and I didn't hear anything.

"Christina?" I called out again.

Once again, no answer.

"Mino?" I called out once more.

And just like before I received no answer. I walked outside to see no sunlight. I also saw that the Leviathan was gone. I walked along the road and saw several bodies in Roman armor and white uniforms. A fight took place here, and chances were that my bodyguards fought them off but had to retreat.

"This is a mess." A kind voice said.

I looked over and saw a woman dressed in a beautiful dress shrouded in an array of colors. Her hair was golden blonde with bold streaks of midnight blue, ruby red, violet, forest green, and tangerine orange. The woman's eye color was a beautiful shade of blue, but if constantly changed colors.

"Iris?" I asked.

Iris looked over at me and smiled sweetly. "So you are alive, your friends sent me. They're back at Sara's house, and the Leviathan is dead. Neither of which make my job easier." Her smile faded as she said each word.

"Your job?" I asked confused.

"Ah yes, most demigods don't know. I took a deal with Olympus that was called The Iris Pact. No matter the war and no matter the battle I stay neutral. I also clean up the mortal world if they see magical combat. This day would surely count as that, but the battle hasn't ended yet. Have a nice night, Mary. I'll be bearing a symbol of Hades in your honor tomorrow," Iris said.

Iris walked away looking at all of the buildings. I walked along the street at all of the destruction and death that happened today. Buildings destroyed, bodies burned or boiled, and the tons of magical weapons. Hephaestus would have a fucking field day down here.

I kept walking along the street and started moving through alleyways. I stopped in a small alleyway when I heard sand. I knew that noise, and I wasn't a big fan of it. I looked up at the roof and saw Dreamwalker. She was wearing a metallic black mask instead of her golden one.

"You have an amazing talent, Mary. You put three of the best demigods I know out of commission without laying a finger on them." Dreamwalker said.

Dreamwalker held her hands out and black sand came before her and made steps for her to walk down. Once she set foot on the ground sand entered hourglasses at her sides and glass lids covered the openings. Dreamwalker laughed a bit as the sand glowed.

"Thanatos always calls you a brat, and I see why. Crow had to claim his half-brother from the bay after you stabbed him and snapped his spine in half, Ghost ran her power out from healing people you hurt, and Sorcerer retreated after you got Deonna killed. You really do cause chaos wherever you go." Dreamwalker said.

Dreamwalker held her hand up and sand went into her hand and turned into a Raiper. I took out Sean's Raiper which I still had sheathed.

"You ever fenced before?" I jokingly asked.

Dreamwalker advanced and our blades met. I took that as a yes. We went back and forth advancing and retreating. Our blades never locked, but that was due to the open space unlike my duel with Sean. Our match continued and it was weird to fight against sand. Especially since the chances were that if our blades did lock the sand would change shape and impale me. Our stances went back and forth with our blades dancing with us. Steel slid off of sand elegantly, and I was making sure our blades wouldn't lock.

We kept fighting and the match was going nowhere. Finally our blades locked and I could see sand moving up to impale me. It went to stab me and then two arrows quickly went through Dreamwalker's hourglasses. Dreamwalker backed off and the Raiper turned to regular sand.

"Back off bitch!" Penny yelled from above.

"How're you that good of a shot?" Adam asked.

"I have a three digit IQ, and enhanced senses. I should be asking you that." Penny answered.

Dreamwalker looked up and knew that in her situation it was impossible to win. Dreamwalker raised whatever sand she could and disappeared in a sand column.

"Where did she go?!" Adam yelled.

"In the land between dreams and reality, she'll be back." Penny answered.

Penny and Adam jumped down landing perfectly. I needed to learn to do that eventually, especially since even Seth could do it. Penny handed me my sword, and smiled.

"You lose this again and I'm keeping it." Penny said through her smile.

"Like hell, my father gifted me this for my thirteenth birthday." I replied taking my sword back.

We all walked back to the house and I noticed that it was untouched. We walked inside and I saw that a new demigod had had joined our group. He had oak brown hair and sky blue eyes. Over a blue hoodie and black jeans he wore samurai armor and a black and blue Oni half mask. The black paint on his armor was chipped and flecked while the midnight blue paint was fresh. At his side he had a katana and a smaller sword, both were in wooden scabbards with a golden lightning pattern. I knew this demigod, Seth had mentioned him before, it was Orochi. His real name I had found out later, it was Ben Sato, Son of Jupiter.
