It wasn't an accident

I saw it all, the car coming out of nowhere with a barbarous speed. I was too late to save her. As April fell to the ground, my world turned dark.

My heart felt it was ripped out of my chest shuttered on the floor. My eyes burned with horror watching April lying helpless and unconscious on the road like a broken doll.

My blood pumps faster to my heart, despair sinking deep in the pit of my stomach, as I clutched April's body in my arms. Her blood staining my tuxedo.

It took James and some other men to separate me from April as the paramedics carried April away.

I thought I was made of Steel but April proved me wrong. I was broken inside beyond repair. The thought of losing her is driving me to the edge of insanity
