AJ is back

"Bring your left arm across your chest, place it in the crease of your left elbow." My physiotherapist's smooth voice surged through my ears compelling me to do as she instructed.

I brought my left arm across my chest and supported it with my right arm. I billow out a yelp of pain as a rush of pain floods through my left arm and palpitate down my spine.

My breath ragged as I try so strenuously not to drop my arm.

"April if this exercise is too uncomfortable for you, we can drop it"

"No" My hot-headed self refuses to back down.

I started physiotherapy a few days after my left arm cast was taken off. The fractured bone was healed and I no longer needed the cast. My neck cast is off too. I have been doing a few exercises to help with the stiffness, and I'm getting good results. I can tilt my head around now without feeling restrained by pain.
