My legs wobble slightly. The weight of the impossible truth inducing some sort of wooziness made me stumble a little.
"Whoa easy April" Alice swiftly niche her arms around my shoulders.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. I just need my crutches." I pointed at the chair Veronica place them.
"I will get them." She pauses, hesitating.
"Can you stand on your own?" She asked propping her eyebrow down with uncertainness.
"Yes," I smiled assuring her. I can stand steadily for a few minutes without my crutches but can't move without them.
"Okay." She took her arms off my shoulders gently. Her eyes never leaves me as she reached for my crutches.
"Thanks." I have never felt so relieved to have my crutches in my grasp.
"Can you help me out of this wedding dress? it makes me feel wrenching inside like it's my wedding day"
She laughs.
"No need to ask"
With her aid, I was quickly out of the wedding dress back into my clothes.
