Family reunion.

I run my hands through my messy hair in a fizzle. My heart beats hard against my chest.

"Month is now or never," Audrey says shrugging her shoulders.

"Wow, how much do you think this diamond ring cost?. Do you think is safe to carry it around?" AJ says, his eyes fawning over my ring.

I folded my arms on my chest and glared at him.

"This not the time AJ," I scolded him.

"Sorry," he grins.

I clasped my hands nervously together staring at the DNA results in Audrey's grasp.

The result is in and I'm so scared to check it out. The results can be my answer to the questions I have been asking myself for months now, or it's going to be a dead end.

Why is the truth scary sometimes?

I took in a deep breath to calm my nerves down. I wiped my sweating palms on my dress.

"I'm ready." I took another deep breath.

I took the envelope containing the results from Audrey.
