Rachel slowly trudges towards the police station. It's been a long, busy day, and she was more than ready to go home. She's hoping that Joe is too.
Stepping through the door, she weaves around rows of empty desks. Looking over, she sees a janitor cleaning the break room.
Poor dude has his work cut out for him, she concludes, eyeing the mess. No matter how bad they leave it, Henry never complains, or at least not to them.
"Evening, Sarge."
"Good evening, Henry. I don't know what we'd do if it weren't for you."
"Thank you." Flashing his beautiful smile, he gets back to work.
Joe is on his phone when she steps into his office.
Seeing Rachel in front of him, he puts the device on its cradle. "I was just about to call you."
"Are you ready to call it a day?" Rachel laughs, plopping down on the couch.
"More than ready, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen anytime soon."
"Why, what's going on?"
