Moment of truth

After several weeks of waiting, we are in July.

And it’s the day of the assessment that will decide my future in residential school. In fact, the censuses have already started 2 days ago. And today I'm on the list of those who will drop by today. My turn is in the afternoon, with Dame Anne-Catherine and Mr. Ackermann.

At the moment, it is morning. And exceptionally, we are free from work or lessons. And so I was able to take the opportunity to write in the break room, and move on with my novel.

Currently sitting at my usual table, my typewriter was in front of me. To my right and left are my corrected draft sheets of all the texts in my chapter. I rewrite it clean, then fold each sheet in order with a paper clip, to separate them from the other chapters.
