As we walk out of the centre, Lex walks over to me and gives me a playful glare. "Next time Aria, just you wait." He flicks my shoulder and I giggle. "See you at the headquarters tomorrow?" Lex walks backwards and says "Yup, see you tomorrow Ar!" He shifts and runs into the crowded streets. "Good job Fisco, but when you're in your free time I would suggest training, instead of having your guard dropped." Aldus says, strangely creepily, comes out of the woods, involuntarily my body shivers. "Thank you Aldus for your input. But it's my decision what I want to do in my spare time." I glare, and Aldus returns one also, but only for a second, he goes dangerously calm. "Well, it's your downfall." His silver eyes glowing in the night, his grey and black hair flowing in the wind. I squint my eyes into a scowl, watching him walk into the woods hence he came.

"Him again? I thought he was gone." Nathan says, anxious. I stare at the woods, "Yeah, he comes and goes, he's the silent but brooding type." After a few moments staring, I say "Well it's been a long night, we should get you back to the infirmary-" Uncle Mike and Dad come out behind me and interrupt "No need, we just rented a room for him at Sera's place. Seems like he isn't a threat." Uncle Mike says abruptly and I smile and nod. "Thank you two! At least Sera's is closer to our place so that I don't have to run to pretty much the other side of the city."Dad hugs me with happiness.

After we arrived at Sera's house, I had a sickening shivering feeling of a bad omen. "You alright Ar? Your hands are in fists." Lex whispers in my ear, startling me out of my senses. "Do you think Aldus sounded threatening tonight? Not creepy but threatening." I look up to meet his eyes, mine filled with worry. Lex smiles comfortingly, "I'm just being paranoid aren't I?" Lex stops at the door and replies with a grin. "The craziest. But in all seriousness, I don't think he's going to be a problem. It's just who he is, the crazy creepy hermit." Lex opens the door and Sera is standing at the doorway, frightened of the abruptness of Lex. She puts her pristine hands on her hips as if she was scolding a child. "Lextor J. Noel! Where has your manners gone? Just barging into homes!" Lex's face reddens and he puts his hands behind his back. "I'm sorry Sera. I guess I'm just excited, I haven't seen you in a long time." Lex laughs out. Sera stops and on her face is a face of happiness. "Come here you monkey!" She holds out her arms for a hug, Lex walks over, and gives her a hug, letting out a chuckle.

"So where is that human that I heard so much about?" Nathan shyly tip-toes over to Sera. "Nice to meet you ma'am." He whispers. Sera smiles and shakes his hand, engulfing him in a hug. Nathan grunts, but slowly relaxes in her touch, "Wow, strong grip young man!" Sera motions us to the living room, with Nathan having a face full of pride. "He's not strong is he?" I whisper over to Sera, she smirks. "No, I want him to have a little bit of pride. That can't hurt him can it?" Sera snickers.

"So, you're back huh? I thought you were in Mexico scouting checking the sightings of the Dusk's. Were the rumours true? Are they rallying?" Sera asks when we are seated, eating some cheese sandwiches and drinking some tea. Uncle Mike's face darkens, looks at Lex and I. "The rumours are true, there are more disappearances and the authorities are starting to notice the puncture wounds on the ones who were fed on." Lex snarls and Sera and Nathan winces. Uncle Mike looks up, fury in his eyes. "Another thing, Bradley isn't the only leader. Apparently, there is someone even higher than him. I was just scouting one night and saw some Dusk's talking and laughing about Bradley and looking up to "The Leader". Ada even confirmed it. No one knows what the person looks like, the only one who does is Bradley." My eyes shoot up and I snarl, my canines baring, my hand gripping the sofa so hard that I hear a crack. "Aria, calm down, don't shift here.-" "Calm down?! Bradley isn't the one who's responsible for my mother's death!" I get up and angrily go outside, slamming the door in the progress. Letting out an angry howl, I shift and go into the woods.
