Party Time!

As we enter the centre, Lex walks up to us, arms crossed. "Well. Well. Well, look who decided to show up." I smile menacingly. "I thought last time you had enough, Lex." Nathan exchanges glances at both of us, confused. Lex smiles and explains. "Every Friday, Aria and I have a dancing competition. We go on the centre of the stage and the attendees judge on our skills. It's always fun to do and it's a way to let loose after work. Aria won last time, she has gotten good over the years. She finally found her spark." Lex grins. "I was always good Lex, I was just letting you win." I smirk, suddenly Raven and Bransen runs up to me and pulls me to the dance floor. "Can you look after Nathan?" I holler over to Lex, whom nods.

"Listen, if you ever hurt her or betray her, I will not hesitate to terminate you." Lex threatens Nathan while leaning on the wall. "She's the only light in this world. So don't burn her out alright? You seem like a nice guy, I'd hate to see her "friend" gone." Nathan gulps. "I won't. At least I'll try not to." Nathan glances at me dancing with Raven and Bransen. "You really hurt her last time. Don't screw this up, human." Lex growls, his blue eyes shining in the night. "So, how's the human? What is he like?" Raven presses. "Humans are terrified creatures. If you threaten them with anything. When I showed my wolf form, he freaked right out. Then he began worshipping me." I giggle. "So they are just scaredy cats? I thought they would be more...heroic." Bransen snickers. " I got an idea, we should prank him dude." Logan taps me on the shoulder. I whip backwards. "Logan, you came!" I reach my arms out and hug him. "Of course I came, I'm playing tonight!" Logan smirks. "Good luck out there Logan!" Logan walks to the backstage. 'This will be great, he never disappoints.' I smile.

"Hello Guys and Ladies!" Logan winks at the crowd. "Are you ready to rock?!" The crowd goes wild with excitement. "One! Two! Three! Four!" Logan counts as they start their hit song 'Stars' "Woo!" I scream out and start head-banging. Logan lifts his drumstick, points at me and mouths out 'Hell yes Bro!' I glance behind me and see Nathan surrounded by some of the guard ; Ashton, Lex's little brother and Nick, my best bro since middle school. I smirk and dance over to Nathan, grabbing his hands and pulling him to the dance floor. Nathan staggers awkwardly dances a little. "Nate, loosen up a little, we're partying. Not a family reunion." I snicker, grab his hands and flail them in a fail attempt in making him dance. He starts to burst out in a fit of giggles. "See? There's no danger here, let loose. Enjoy yourself!" I do a twirl and dance freely, when seeing me dance he relaxes his body and starts to dance for real. In the corner, Lex stares at us, frowning and drops his sights to the floor.

After a couple of songs, Derek the Dj and Logan go to the centre of the stage. "Everyone having a great night so far?" Logan yells, the crowd goes wild in happiness. "Here's the event all you have been waiting for! The dance competition between Wolf guard captain Lex and Lieutenant Aria!" Derek announces. "Who are you rooting for Logan?" Logan takes the mic and says "Obviously Aria, she's been training day in and day out! Lex is good but I think Aria will rise!" Lex comes behind me and says "You're going down Ar." smirking , I return "In your dreams Lex." Derek hears this and yells "Oh there's tension!" Fixing his blue hair with darker tips, he shifts to half wolf- half humanoid form. Every shifter can do this but it's very straining on our bodies. "This is going to be an intense competition folks!" Derek's girlfriend, Jaine says on the mic, fluffing her light blue hair. "Contenders, on stage!" 'here we go.' I walk up the stage and backflip onto the centre while Lex follows.

"Alright, you know the rules, this is a friendly competition. No fighting, just dance your hearts out!" Derek and Logan whisper to us. "You're so going down Aria. I'll win this time, I can feel it." Lex snickers. "Feeling cocky aren't we Aria? Just don't be a sore loser when you lose." Lex taunts. I laugh and Logan walks over to me. "You can do this Ar, just do what you did last year." He grins and I smile. "It's in the bag." Derek and Jaine say in the microphone, "Alright Shifters and ... Human. Let's get this competition started!" Lex and I walk to either sides of the stage, warming up.

Derek and Jaine go to the DJ booth and start playing some warm-up songs, when Lex and I are ready, Derek yells Lex' name. Lex runs to the centre of the stage and nods his head towards Derek, giving him the signal. Derek plays 'Last One Standing' and Lex starts breakdancing, doing a kick up, the clock and a flip. The crowd goes wild and Lex walks to his side, shouting, "Beat that Aria!" I return a smirk. When the song ends, I nod over to Jaine who smiles devilishly. The song 'I burn' turns on just before the chorus, I do a backflip into an elbow freeze and jump into a nike freeze, smirking at him, with Lex returning him rolling his eyes. I do a few windmills and go into a shoulder freeze. The crowd goes crazy and with Logan yelling some "Woo!'s" "Well guys, this is going to be a tough decision." Logan says on the microphone, excited. I pick myself back up as Logan asks the judges "Judges, what do you think?" Logan points his finger at Lex, the crowd goes loud, when he points his finger at me, the crowd screams. "Well, we have a winner!" Logan yells and Lex giggles.
