Tour

When we roam out of the infirmary, Alistare is outside, skippy as ever. "Hey Ar! I heard there is a human residing in there. Well? Did you see them?" Alistare says, completely oblivious of Nathan whom is right beside me. "Alistare, he's right in front of you." I snicker as Nathan waves awkwardly. Suddenly Alistare's face becomes cold, in a scowl. "Well don't get too comfortable, you'll be leaving soon. I hope." Alistare spits out and sprints out to the sidewalk, his white, green, and black hair blowing in the wind. "What just happened? I thought Alistare was cool with you being here. He was always envious of you humans."I say with genuine confusion on my face. "Maybe you were wrong? Not what he seems?" Nathan shrugs. "No, you don't understand, I have known him for years. I wonder what's gone into him...well, anyway, time for the tour. You'll be here for a while, so you might as well get used to your surroundings." I pull Nathan towards the sidewalk.

"So first off, you need to know how to get back here at all times. Since you're going to need to be staying there until we find a proper house or a temporary place." I point at the intersection. "All roads lead to the Headquarters, so if you get lost, find someone who is dressed in armour. Or me." Suddenly a chill goes down my spine. "Hello Fisco, this is the human? He won't last long here. We don't like newcomers." A man with grey hair walks past, i roll my eyes. He's always like this, intimidating and never speak to anyone-like. "Aldus, stop it. Anyways aren't you supposed to be on a mission? I heard Lex say that you're going to Australia." I scowl. "I just came back from Australia. By the way, Fisco, watch your back, humans are dangerous. He'll be gone before you know it anyway." Aldus looms over and whispers to me, before going into the Headquarters. "Is he always like this?" Nathan asks, alarmed. "Well he does have that creepy factor about him. You just got the weirdest part of him. Anyway, let's get moving." I grab Nathan's hand towards the intersection.

"This is the school, yesterday I had to do a lesson to a class about our history. It was actually very interesting that nobody in the class actually knew about our past." I frown. "Well I don't know it. Could you explain it to me?" Nathan asks, awkwardly. "You don't count, you're human. Also, I'm really not ready to tell you." I walk ahead and clench my hand into a fist. "Ok, I'll drop it if you want." Nathan says with sympathy. I give him a thankful nod and he returns a sad one. "By the way, I don't think you have met any of the guard have you?" Nathan suddenly shrinks, I giggle, my dimples showing. "What has gotten into you Nate? In High school you were the brave jock, now you jump at the slightest of sounds!" I wheeze in a fit of laughter. Nathan huffs and frowns. "Well I think I can be a little scared Aria! Since my girlfriend tried to kill me, I saw you turn into a wolf and control the elements. I think I can be a little terrified!" Nathan snaps. I put my hands up in surrender. "Alright I guess!" I look down at my watch, "Oh my god! We're late! Hurry, get on my back!" I shift into my wolf form. Nathan scurries to my back and I start sprinting.

I stop at my house, panting. "Ok, get off. I just need to get changed. Then we're off." Nathan slides off. "Where are we going Aria? I'm confused as hell." Nathan looks at me, dumbfounded. "Today's Friday, which means party day! All the members of the guard are to attend to keep things at bay and to have fun! I promised my friends Raven and Bransen I would go. They'll say yes attending too because if you do anything, the guard'll be there to look after you." Nathan gulps and walks slowly to the front lawn. "Just don't do anything stupid and you'll be fine, trust me." I open the door and yell out. "Hey Dad! I'm home!" Nathan trudges in.

"Hey Aria, why are you home so early-" Dad looks at Nathan and scowls. "Ah, so this is the human. Frail looking boy, has he been a hassle?" Dad growls. "Nah, he's a pup, he knows his place. Keep an eye on him will ya? I gotta go change." Dad growls in annoyance as I race upstairs to my closet of clothes. As I skim through, I find the perfect crop top to go with my white skinny jeans. I get changed and look at myself in the mirror. "Perfect, Lex will love this!" I grab my wallet and slide down the handrail downstairs. "If you hurt my little girl-" Dad looks up from a staring contest with Nathan to marvel at my attire. "Wow, Aria you look good." I smile in response. "Woah, Aria, I like that on you!" Nathan stares at me, entranced. "Earth to Nathan! You there dude?" I wave my hand in front of his face. Nathan looks at my attire once more, a white crop top that exposes my chest and has white long sleeves that start from my neck, with simple white skinny jeans to top it off. "Yeah, you look amazing Aria!" Nathan blushes subtly. "Thanks Nathan. Now lets get going!" I drag him by the collar outside.
