A wave of darkness came over. All they could see were black even though they were holding torches. 


Then they could see everything again. The earthquake had stopped. 


"Look!" Stephanie pointed with her finger. 


Milo looked at where she was pointing and said, "Was that there before?" 


"No, it wasn't. There was only one before!" 


An extra cave branch had appeared next to another. 


"Why did this one show up out of nowhere? Is it because of that earthquake? Hey! Would you say something?" Milo said. 


Milo wanted the other two to talk because they were the only ones that can understand and perceive magic. However, Milo and Stephanie were taken aback when they saw their pale faces and sweat-drenched faces. 


"What's wrong with you two?" Milo asked. 


"That magic… we're out of our depth," Edmund said, puffing.
