The moment Elijah was hit, a massive shockwave expanded out from the collision and flung Stephanie and Regina a few meters away. They were knocked unconscious. 


In an instant, it smashed Elijah into a wall and made a 3-meter deep hole with his body. 


Large debris came out of the impact with the wall but didn’t hit the two girls because the rock's weight made them hit the ground before it could reach. Furthermore, they were slowed down by the shockwave from the tentacle’s smack. 


Unusually, the debris was hit by a shockwave that had been created earlier than it, but that was because Elijah flew faster than the speed of the shockwave. The speed of sound.
