Problems Keep Coming

With everyone out of the way, Leo would have an easier time fighting.

Now, he didn't have to worry about accidentally hitting anybody with his huge sword. Leo still wondered something about their security measures using the barrier.

"You and your friend must be pretty sneaky if the barrier didn't notice your presence. How did you pull that off?"

"It was simple, we've been here the whole time. Lurking among the mansion until it was time."

"You anticipated the barriers pretty well. It's unusual. Really unusual. It's almost like someone among you can tell the future."

Leo leaned on his sword's handle, crossing his legs as he waited for a reply.

"That's all thanks to Faust's ability of knowledge." said Ella.

A quiet gasp flew from Leo's mouth as he recalled something. During of the the war briefings of 1916, there was rumor of a dangerous war criminal who held a dangerous ability called 'Knowledge Phase'

What made it so dangerous was that it granted him knowledge on his target's movements.

'Could Faust be that same person?'

Ella face-palmed herself, releasing a sigh. "Are you done spacing out. I want to have fun and fight already."

"You're just a kid so I'll give you one chance to surrender."

"Nope. I can't do that."

Through the eye-holes of Leo's metallic mask, his yellow pupils were engulfed with energy. The look in his eye was that of a calm maniac.

"That was your only chance. I hope you're satisfied with your path."

The room darkened as an immense pressure vibrated the floor.

A red fog slowly formed around Leo's body, filling the room.

Ella tilted her head as a giant sword lifted above her face.

"Wow. I can sense the power running through your body."

"It's over." Leo dropped the blade with great force.

Slash! Crackle!

As the floor ripped and shook, Ella's slim figure jumped aside, shouting with a psychotic smile.

"Did you think I didn't know how to dodge?!" she jumped up, grabbing onto the roof.

The damage finally caused the floor to cave in. Leo lost his footing and fell down to the first floor while the weighty rubble fell on top of him.

Bash! BAsh! Crackle.

After all the debris and rubble settled down, Ella decided to jump down, lightly landing.

"Ah, bummer. I didn't think you would die to simple rubble."

Smash!

A pile of rubble blasted into the air and Leo rose up, brushing the dust off.

"Don't worry. I won't die to something that dumb. I'm not even scratched."

"Woah. So you're not just some average person."

"I thought you figured that out when I tackled you through those walls a while ago."

"Opps. Short-term memory loss. Let's fight now, I am getting bored of waiting.

Leo grabbed his weighty blade and leaped forward.

"We'll start right away."

One heavy slash, Ella jumped over it. Two heavy slashes, Ella ducked under them. Leo's speed increased and despite his blade's weight, he rapidly swung it at the speed of sound.

Slash! Slash! Slash!

Claw grew from Ella's hands, which she used to deflect a handful of slashes. The ones she couldn't deflect, she sidestepped them.

Leo spent many more seconds swinging his blade but, none of them were landing head-on. That didn't mean Ella was having an easy time, all of her focus was on evading and she had no time to even think of countering.

The one moment Leo stopped to take a single breath, a 2nd Ella appeared.

No, it wasn't a hallucination, Ella had made a clone of herself.

Leo tried to act quickly but was overwhelmed by many attacks. The two Ella's had lunged at him, slashing with their claws, landing exactly 100 cuts.

The surrounding walls and even most of the floor was torn to material shreds.

"Please tell me you survived that, mister." Ella giggled.

"Oh, don't worry. I did." Leo's body stepped forward, covered in an orange light.

Thanks to his reflexes, he activated [Unmovable Force] just in time to avoid damage.

[Unmovable Force- For the next 5 Minutes, no force can make Leo move against his will. Leo will be immune to status effects and will take no dmg.]

Ella jumped up and down, throwing her hands in the air with excitement.

"You can really keep going? Mister, you're pretty good. That means I can finally show more impressive moves."

Now, there weren't only two Ella's, there were now 11 of them in total. And each of them thrusted their claws at Leo.

"This is nothing." Leo took one great swing with his sword.

___________

Louis, Indigo, Asher and Diane were only a couple halls away from the door to the labyrinth entrance, where the enemy named 'Lucius' should be, if he hasn't already got into the vault.

"Almost there. Just a bit further." said Louis.

Slash! Slash!

From right around the corner, two slashes came forward. Louis and Asher managed to pull the other's down just in time to dodge.

Two voices spoke from the darkness of the hall, both which Louis could remember.

"Finally found you! I've been wanting a rematch!" said a man's voice. Stepping out from the shadow's was a deadly canceler named 'Jack'

{Also Known As: Jack The Ripper}

"I just had to come see you again. I didn't get to show you all my moves last time." said a woman's voice. Also coming out from the shadow's was a dangerous woman named 'Alys' who is wanted by the kingdom.

{Also Known As: The Slaughterer}

Louis quickly stood up, taking a fighting stance, he knew that Jack, alone, was powerful but now he even had a teammate. It was definitely a great threat.

"What? Why are you two here? It's like this mansion is attracting so many visitors." Louis asked.

Alys and Jack held each other's hands and simultaneously replied.

"Isn't it obvious? We're lovers who have you as our common enemy."

"Great. We don't only have dangerous people in the mansion, but now there's a couple of perverts." Louis insulted.

Asher could already sense the strength of the couple, even without being told about it.

"It seems there were more people than the plan mentioned." he said.

Louis then asked Asher of a favor, "I'm sorry about having you tied up earlier. If you can forgive me for that, I'd appreciate it if you helped me against them."

Asher smiled, gently drawing his blade.

"You misunderstand my position. I'm still technically your prisoner. I'll simply do as I'm told."

"You could've just said that you forgive me. That would've been simpler." said Louis, before looking back at Indigo and Diane.

"I want the two of you to chase after Lucius. Me and Asher will handle this."

After sharing nods of understandment, Diane and Indigo ran past.
