"You missed a class again, I-pin," her professor said as they talked privately in her office.
"I'm sorry, Professor!" I-pin bowed to apologize.
"You also haven't passed the last activity I assigned last week," her professor added in dismay.
"I'm sorry again, professor!" she apologized again.
The professor looked at her with concern, "Is there something bothering you, child? You seemed out of focus these past few weeks."
I-pin shook her head, "Nothing, professor. All of this is my fault, I failed to manage my time properly, but if you can give me a second chance, I promise that I won't fail you."
Her professor saw her willingness and decided to give her a chance, "Fine, I will give you another chance. I understand your situation because I have been a student too, but to be fair to your other classmates, I'll be giving you a deduction."
"I accept your condition. Thank you so much, professor," I-pin said with a smile on her face.
"But I also expect a difference in your class performance," her professor said before dismissing her, and I-pin nodded as a response.
I-pin deeply sighed after her exit from the professor's office. She was thankful that one of her problems is solved just a few more heavy ones.
She admits it was all her fault that she currently struggles in her classes, failing to attend her classes, and failing to submit her needed requirements. She focused more on her part-time jobs because she needed enough money for her thesis and other finances. She chooses not to bother Tsuna and his family because they have been the ones that have taken care of her and sustained her needs as a child. Her funds for college are all ready for her to face.
It was a good thing that most of her professors are understanding and she will do her best not to waste the second chance given to her.
She now proceeded to her next class, and as the class discussion went on she divided her attention to do a reviewer for Lambo. Her boyfriend may be hiding it, but she notices how he has difficulty understanding some concepts and theories. To help him, she decided to create a reviewer for him that can help him comprehend those concepts and theories easily. She wanted to help him just like how he helps her when she's in trouble.

I-pin felt frustrated, alone in the library, doing her research.
"I'm sorry I-pin, there's an emergency at home. I can't help for today."
"I need to go home, I'm feeling sick today."
"I need to attend extra classes today."
"Actually... there's a problem where I at my part-time job and they need me there now."
"Sorry, the professor's calling for me."
Excuses. All of her groupmates gave her that. She is okay with it if it was the first time, but this wasn't. She gives the schedule of their group meetings in advance, so they can make time for it, but if it's already time, they'll make random excuses. It will end up her, doing it all alone. She doesn't want to make this a big deal because she already has a lot to think of.
After she finished doing her research for the group activity, she also started doing the activities she failed to pass.
Headache. That's what she received after doing all of her schoolwork, but there is still a lot waiting for her.
She was about to continue, but her phone on the table vibrated because of a received message. She checked it out, and all of the stress she's feeling vanished from the sight of her boyfriend's name in the notification.
"You deserve a rest too," the message read as.
I-pin smiled, and she instantly packed her things up. She ran towards the man waiting for her outside the campus.

"Lambo!" I-pin ran to him, and hugged him, "I'm so happy to see you."
"Me too," he hugged her back tightly.
"You look tired," Lambo observed her tired expression, "I hope this is enough."
I-pin looked at the grocery bag his holding, and she held on tightly at his other hand, "Let's eat at my place."

"Is it good?" Lambo asked I-pin as he watched her taste the food he prepared.
I-pin happily nodded, "As usual, it's very delicious."
"Are you sure? You aren't lying?" he doubted.
"Why would I lie to you? You're a great cook," she complimented.
"See... I really have the qualifications of a great husband," he proudly said.
"Oh really?" I-pin ignored him and continued to eat their delicious dinner.
Lambo smirked, and he instantly pecked her cheeks before starting to eat.

"Thank you for everything, Lambo," Lambo heard I-pin on his back as he put his shoes on.
He looked back, "Please don't forget to sleep, drink water, and eat on time."
"Yes, yes, and yes. I won't forget," suddenly she remembered something, "Oh, wait! I almost forgot to give it to you."
She immediately ran towards her room and looked for her bag. After seeing her bag, she picked out a notebook where she wrote the notes she prepared for him. While she was gone Lambo finished tying out on his shoes and patiently waited for her.
She returned back to him holding that notebook.
"Here. Good luck with your studies too," he gave Lambo the notebook.
Lambo took the notebook, "Thanks."
And he kissed her goodbye.
As Lambo walked out on the neighborhood, he looked at the notebook he is holding.
"That's right, Lambo! You shouldn't give up," he told himself, feeling motivated.

Then that day came.
"Is there a problem?" I-pin asked as she noticed Lambo have been staring at her for a very long time instead of focusing on reviewing for his entrance exam.
She felt worried when Lambo nodded at her question, thinking what his problem is, but she was surprised when he came near to her, and he caressed both of her cheeks, "I want you to get enough sleep."
She smiled as she blushed, and she fake promised, "Don't worry, I'll sleep early tonight."
"Liar!" he said, lightly flicking her forehead.
"Ouch!" she pouted as she touched her forehead.
She expected this like one of their normal dates and not as their last one.

"I'm sorry the number you have dialed is either unattended or out of coverage area," and her dialed call ended.
I-pin already lost count of how many phone calls did she make to contact Lambo, and the same goes for the doorbell of his place that she kept pressing. She has no clue where is boyfriend is or what happened to him. Even Tsuna and the others have no clue about his whereabouts. Gokudera was so furious to hear Lambo's cowardly act.
He vanished like a ghost. She even asked for the police's help, but it wasn't working. Some are thinking that she is crazy obsessed that's why her boyfriend left her. If she knew that date would be the last time they will meet, she would have stayed at his side and avoided work.

Ever since that day, I-pin failed to concentrate in both her part-time job and school. All she felt was lost and worried about Lambo.
"Hey! I-pin, stop dragging our group into your problems!" her angry group mate brawled at her for failing to contribute to their group project, but she ignored him and silently left the room.
"What a bitch!" her other classmate loudly added before she can leave the room.
"I-pin what are you still doing here in the shop!? How about Kawahira-san's order!?" her boss furiously roared.
She also ignored him and left the shop. She proceeded to her home to rest, but instead of resting, she went back on dialing Lambo's number.
"Please..."
"Please answer, and say hello..." she pleaded at the ringing sound of the phone, trying to stop her tears from falling, but it streamed down.
She suddenly remembered a memory from the past.
"So that guy yesterday is your boyfriend?"
She nodded from that question.
"He looks like a loser, I-pin. You should choose someone better," he said, and she felt insulted by that.
"Lambo is not a loser. He's a very hardworking and dedicated person," she defended the person she loves.
"Your future is to be a successful woman, I-pin, and he is just using you to cheat his way to life. He will just leech you-" before he could continue, I-pin loudly slaps him, and she doesn't care if people in the classroom will look in their direction.
"Stop disrespecting him. You don't even know him."
Going back to reality, she questioned herself.
"Do I even really know him?" she asked herself, "I have no clue where he went."
"Why did he left me? Just, where did I go wrong?"
More tears fell, and her eyes widened from a realization.
"Or am I the one who has been leaving him?"
