Sinner

Opening his eyes, his iris was as black as ever, and his expression was as lacking as ever. Skipping his appearance part as it is too boring and no one is willing to read it, his mind was as clear as ever.

Maybe due to the headache he experienced before—according to logic, what doesn't kill human make human stronger— he felt his mentality was trained.

Keeping a confused face, he extended his finger, then a black orb appeared out of his finger. 'What? Did I got my own idol glowstick color?'Kuro joked in his mind.

Actually, the image was closer to lightsaber more than glowstick swung by the otakus. For example, Kuro used more mana to create a longer stick—that turned into a pole, unqualified to be called as lightsaber, because there was no place to hold.

Handleless Lightsaber… complete!… I can actually hold!!? Due to his surprise, the exclamation mark went above the count of 1.

Usually, mana had no physical form, even if you release, can see it. That's why even though his mana control was good, he never thought of using this mana control to armor his whole body, not to mention, enhance his body using mana control. Of course, there's an exception: for example, basic offensive spell called Magic Missile.

But right now? Not only did his mana gain an physical attributes, it also gained elemental attributes. Going by it's appearances, it should be darkness? 'I have to do it!'

'I want to make a multiple swords flying in the air while screaming 'Sword Formation!' like Dante or 'Unlimited Blade Works' I've heard from 17.' Kuro's imagination was pretty wild.

He then tested it out to how far the shape he can make.

Circle: Possible, easy.

Square: Possible, easy.

Pole: Possible, medium.

Gun: Unknown, if possible, hard.

Sword: Should be possible, hard.

How long does it stay? For this one, Kuro laid the pole (handleless lightsaber) he created on the table, and stopped his clone from writing—make his clone stare at the lightsaber.

As for the surrounding black mana with bunch of shapes he tested, he retracted it inside his body. At the same time this happened, some portion of his mana restored but not all of them.

Now for the final test… "Mana Zone." Kuro whispered to himself. An technique he was inspired from Black Clover. By spreading out his mana, can he attack from any degrees any position within the zone.

The mana he spreads out was a faint black mana, which was barely seen in the eyes. It spreads out in the shape of sphere and… shattered. "All right."

Kuro tried it because he once read in a book that this kind of technique existed and to be honest, it wasn't the first time he tried it. Before his magic control talent was exchanged, he once tried it and the result was the same. Shattered.

Kuro then noticed another thing. 'Can I try it?' The chantless, magic spell that requires no contract with god! Kuro extended his hand forward and made a 2 dimensional circle.

Inside the circle, he wrote a drawing, copying a certain magic spell from the book he read. Speaking of magic spell, from his prediction (and analysis) the magic chant was made by the god. The reason behind this is the words in the chant.

If Wind Goddess Sinorea's chant: O' great goddess of wind; Sinorea. Please lend this one the power to travel faster—to bring the greater changes in earth: Wind Boost.

If Dark God's chant: O' great god—please give me the power to cover the land with darkness: Dark Mist

If Fire God Kairen's chant: O' Great Almighty God Of Fire, Kairen: Befall the 2nd sun in this planet—and shall it burn the great land Fire Ball.

Aside the fact that they're all over exaggerating (or it is actually possible as long as the mana was put), the way they want the user to call themselves is different. Dark God is secretive and even in the book there wasn't his name written. Wind Goddess was fairly normal. Fire God… seemed to scream 'I am the best god out there.'

After editing the magic circle for five continuous minute, Kuro was finally done. "Shadow Dagger."

From within the magic circle, multiple black blade flew out, and stabbed the wall. Although the power was lacking and it didn't penetrate the wall, it worked!

But then, he wondered: why didn't a thunder fall? Kuro thought this act was something a god won't forgive and try to befall the thunder from heaven but there was no such thing. 'Did the dark god no mind it?'

To test the water, although he was unsure, he tried to write the magic spells that used water attribute.

Spending full 8 minute, he completed the magic circle then sounded out. "Wave."

'That's disgusting' Kuro unconsciously thought as the black water washed the floor. Even though 'washed' is written here, because of the lack of water it was less than the amount of water by the cup.

Like before, Kuro moved his body—as expected the thunder befallen to the position he was in.

"Gratitude to Dark God!" Kuro lowly bowed himself to nothing. From the amount of water that came out from magic circle, Kuro deemed it as inefficient. His mana wasn't compatible with water magic, and maybe the rest of attributes, specially light magic. Although he hasn't tested it out yet, he was somewhat sure.

Before the door was even opened, Kuro twitched then happily, he said "Ayame-chan, Ayame-chan! Look! I can do this from now on! I can use magic without contracting with gods!" Kuro wasn't sure if he want to be magician, though.

The door was opened and Ayame's figure appeared. The look of worry disappeared, it turned into surprises. "You… peed in the floor?" Impossible… from Kuro's usual behaviour that seems to act like an adult since the 2nd time they met… she just couldn't think for him to do such a thing.

'Oh wait… didn't Kuro say he can use magic now? That make sense…' she nodded like a chick eating food… then she noticed that something was wrong.

"What? You can use magic?" Ayame widened her eyes as Okayu's head appeared from the sides.
