Training 2 Imaginary

With the simple strength tests, fighting test, mana elemental test done, Soujin finally nodded after a long consideration.

"Hm. That guy will do it. I will call him to come here later. Before that…"

Soujin moved his gaze unable to hold his urge.

Kuro had been feeling that gaze since before but he decided it to ignore it because Soujin wasn't questioning it. However by his current expression, he understood it

"Why do you have Asura and Rasetsu? I've been wanting to ask you that."

A threatening look. Perhaps wrong answer can make the situation worse. But it was no big deal. So, Kuro answered calmly without breaking a sweat.

"I acquired them from Ayame-chan. Something wrong?"

"Something wrong or not… you-…. Never mind. How about try swinging it?"

The daughter he saw at was when she was on a special state. That state she was in, make it the most difficult time yet, the most easiest time to obtain the two swords.

Because she is honest to her feeling, if she felt untrusting, she will never give it to someone no matter what. That's just how important that sword was to her.

At the same time, because she is honest to her feeling at that state, she will absolutely give in the swords if she, deep in her heart, felt that it was okay to give it.

This was the reason Soujin didn't ask how Kuro managed to obtain the swords whatsoever—instead, he got to the point.

"My arm won't break or something, wouldn't it?" Just in case, Kuro asked.

"I don't know. Maybe you won't be able to use your arms again… you may even directly die." Soujin said like it was completely normal.

"Seriously? Well whatever." Kuro released the Asura from it's sheath…

"I forgot to say you two successor can't exist at the same ag-… what?"

Damned Soujin, everything he said were too late. And Kuro almost died if he wasn't Kuro.

The expected unexpected state of Kuro in his mind wasn't played in front of his eyes, but just Kuro brandishing the sword.

The sword created multiples arcs of crimson trails and it disappeared in flash. Just when the crimson flash disappeared, another one appeared.

Kuro's body seemed like it was taken control of, the swordsmanship he was showing easily surpass his current level and it was at least the technique level 3.

No higher than Ayame's and not lower than Ayame's—it was at exactly same level.

The swords art made for killing, waste movement reduced to nothingness, the swift crimson blade which even before the enemies sees, they've long since beheaded.

Not long after, Soujin's eyes created an multiple persons… the person which shouldn't exists yet it was there. The illusions.

The illusions' figure became even clearer as Kuro's swords became even faster and stronger. Kuro was now, fighting against… nothing! an imaginary person!

As Kuro's swordsmanship reaches it's peak, an even clearer image was sent to Soujin's eyes and he could even clearly see the person's face 'that shouldn't be there.'

It was… 'Rasetsu!' The first successor of the sword: Rasetsu. The brother of Asura!

The sword fight between the reality and imaginary emitted no sound—it was quiet as even the sound of sword cutting through the air couldn't be heard.

There! Kuro parried the imaginary blade of 'Rasetsu' as he stepped side-way.

The parries Kuro played were so well timed that it was exactly the time, not a millisecond off from when after 'Rasetsu''s strength's peak and began dropping sharply.

He used this milliseconds to his advantage as he slid Asura downward, drag-pushing the Rasetsu downward to the ground.

Beautifully, the Asura rose up from the ground like an swallow raising up at great speed—the katana's blade pointed toward 'Rasetsu,' it went for the kill.

However right before the blades reaches 'Rasetsu,' Kuro's muscle couldn't handle of the sudden foreign movement anymore as it slowed the blade by a nanosecond.

That small time gave 'Rasetsu' to react—with a small shake from neck, he managed to dodge the sword with hair-width, afterward came the counterattack.

The stomach that Kuro thought to temporarily drag down to ground, was already in the level of 'Rasetsu's body it was ready to go for an piercing attack.

Pushing his arm forward, the sword travelled to front direction at great speed no reflex can ever react to its.

Just before 'Rasetsu's blade stabs in Kuro's stomach, a single came from outside as it deflected 'Rasetsu's arm.

Along with the sword, 'Rasetsu's arm, then his whole body, disappeared like a mist.

"Seriously with this kid's suicide problem."

Soujin shook his head once again.

Kuro's arm which was holding Asura, turned red and slowly black, from then bruises slowly one from one.

The slashes injuries which Kuro barely dodged from his fight against imaginary Rasestu also started appearing one by one.

Although one of it was Asura and his fault, Soujin sighed.

"Still… what is happening? How could there be the 2nd successor at the same age?"

Soujin pondered at the spot as Kuro went unconscious while still holding his stance.

"I get it that Ayame managed to become the two swords' successor because she 'IS' my daughter but… why can this kid use Asura?"

Soujin began thinking over all the possibilities.

"Maybe is it because of her unique Oni traits that came with her?"

Oni had an unique traits given to each Oni differently. In case of Soujin, it was [Shield]. The more he wanted to protect, the more boosts given to his power. However, he will be sometime over-protective.

For Adona, it was [Love]. The more love Adona emit of, the more boost given to her power. However, she have a slight troubles in showing emotions although it does exists. Basically, it meant she,ll either be [Tsundere] or [Kuudere].

This unique power correspond through the emotions they emit. And that's why it's a bad match with Oni whose grow in mental slightly slower.

As for Ayame, both Soujin and Adona doesn't know. They could make a guess but they weren't sure.

Soujin's guess for this one was her state: which goes by [Nakirium Switch] (not an official name).

Opposite of her mother, when she broke an emotion conditions, she will be more honest to herself. But they have seen Ayame in this state at least once.

Apart from being honest, there was literally no effect they felt from Ayame.

They don't even know whether this was positives thing or bad thing. Because there's just too little Oni in Virturan. They can't be sure everything will gives a positive effect to their unique traits.

"Agghh!" Soujin frustratingly scratched his head.

Thinking wasn't really his forte. So in the end, he decided to leave everything to Kuro.

Just like that, he carried the unconscious Kuro, which unconsciously swung his blade to Soujin—an amateur action to Soujin so he easily deflected the struggling unconscious Kuro.
