A Brother’s Plea
It was raining and thundering outside…
Habakkuk and Sethnos were still on the rooftop talking…
Sethnos:How is it that you have this power… but me, someone who worked all my life and had to keep fighting every single day, couldn't even achieve it?!
Habakkuk frowned
Sethnos:I worked so hard! Every single day fighting for my life… so that I could even exist! I never even had the chance to be a normal kid, I had to fight for my survival every fucking day! I couldn't laugh, cry, or show any signs of emotions! I only had hopes and dreams! My dream was to achieve the power of the unsealed gate and avenge my family, build an army, and show those who like to cause pain and suffering what it was like if they were in that position, I was going to rule with an iron fist! But you… my own brother who i have not met too long ago you somehow manage to both surpass me and shatter my dreams!! You looked at me with pity and treated me as if I was a helpless child! The same warrior who tried to kill you… but instead you spared my life… Why didn't you just kill me and end it all right there?! Why did you have to let me live with all of this?! You should've ended all of this pain and suffering… anything is better than what I have right now… including death because i suffer a lot worse than hell itself...
Habakkuk:I couldn't bring myself to do it… I just can't…
Sethnos:You reached all of this power… but yet you still didn't join me…
Sethnos clenched his fist as his tears rushed out of his eyes and he started to be consumed with anger. Sethnos threw punches back and forth while yelling at habakkuk. Since Sethnos was breaking down, the punches were sloppy and easy for Habakkuk to dodge.
Sethnos:You could have joined the cause! You could've been there!! A lot could've been prevented! All this pain and constant suffering, the ptsd and the other mental trauma could have all been put to ease! You were supposed to be by my side, my younger brother! We are the last of our kind and we have a common threat who killed our people and still threatens to do it again but this time to everyone else in the universe! You got all this power and you could have done something! You're the great unsealed gate of legend, you're everything I ever wanted to be and now that I wasn't the one to achieve it first… I… I…
Habakkuk stopped dodging Sethnos punches and caught the last one… Sethnos started panting and then sweat started coming down his face as he started to breathe extremely heavy.
Habakkuk took notice of what was going on… Sethnos was hyperventilating!
Habakkuk:Hey Seth, look at me! Calm down!
Sethnos vision faded and he would drop to the floor.
Habakkuk ran to his aid but suddenly Sethnos hand would pop up and he blasted himself in the chest to make his pulse come back.
Habakkuk:Seth are you alright?
Habakkuk extended his hand out to Sethnos…
Sethnos gritted his teeth and smacked Habakkuk's hand away.
Sethnos:Don't touch me!
Habakkuk:Sheesh bro, i was just trying to help.
Sethnos:Oh now you want to help? I don't need your damn help!
Sethnos jumped up and charged at Habakkuk.
Habakkuk:Look Seth, I don't want to fight! Just calm down and we'll talk. We don't have to do this!
Sethnos:Bullshit! I'm going to kill you where you stand!!
Sethnos threw an attack at Habakkuk but he quickly dodged…
Habakkuk:Let's at least do this somewhere else, not at the school!
Sethnos would then grab Habakkuk by the face and flew off far into the distance, now they were in some waste land and Sethnos would then slam Habakkuk down to the ground by the face, causing a huge crater…
Sethnos would then look over Habakkuk's body and then got into a fighting stance while powering up!
Sethnos:Last time, I used the berserk forms and lost my composure… but never again will I ever use those primitive forms… from now on I'll fight like this!
Habakkuk gets up wiping himself off.
Habakkuk:Well that's kind of a handicap but I'm going to make this quick, I'm late to english and my teacher is going to be pissed!
Sethnos:I'll take you on however!
Habakkuk's aura and eyes turned lime green, his hair spiked up, and he had small claws and fangs… He was now in the third controlled berserk state. The ground was shaking and rocks floated in the air.
Sethnos seemed a bit shocked…
Sethnos:No Unsealed gate?
Habakkuk:Trust me I won't need it!
Sethnos:What?!
Habakkuk disappeared!
He would instantly appear in front of Sethnos and punched him in the gut, making him cough out blood. Habakkuk would then kick Sethnos into the air and appear above him with a void fist, sending him crashing to the ground.
Habakkuk stood over him and went back into his normal form.
Sethnos was laying in a huge crater dazed…
Sethnos:Why didn't you use the unsealed gate?
Habakkuk:is this why you egged me on to fight you?!
Sethnos didn't say anything…
Habakkuk:the truth is.. I don't know how to transform into it at my own will, it's something I can't access just by desiring it... the way i got the form was from death and extreme emotional trauma like the loss of my best friend… after I was killed in battle i was reborn with more power but I needed an extra emotional push to fully achieve it's true power… then my best friend sacrificed his life for mine... and that's how I transformed… honestly it's like a chemical reaction, it just explodes in the matter of a certain situation…
Sethnos:So you don't have the form mastered… I see... alright that's all I wanted to know.
Habakkuk:Now about my question…
Sethnos:What is it?
Habakkuk:A few days ago, there was this girl with a white mask… she attacked me and we had a good battle… but she had the energy of a gatekeeper… something was off about her because it made my body react and I instantly turned into the third state of berserk, but I managed to calm down and enter the controlled state… but something about her was amazing, even though she tried to assassinate me and rip me apart, it was like something was drawing me towards her to keep fighting and honestly I want to fight her again… I figured she was with you because of the dark aura and the same dark arts technique…
Sethnos eyes widened…
Sethnos:Kronos… that bastard!
Habakkuk:Huh?
Sethnos:I saw her around, but I don't know who she is… but I know who is responsible!
Habakkuk:Wait… what do you mean?
Sethnos:I have to get going now!
Sethnos would instantly make a portal and teleport back into the dark chaos dimension…
Habakkuk:Damn it! Even he seemed like he didn't know much but at the same time he did…
Habakkuk would go frown but then he decided to go back to school.
Narrator Habakkuk:Sethnos… damn I can't believe I feel bad for that guy… but he really wants that Unsealed Gate form. I don't even know how the hell I'm going to even transform back into it… What the hell am I supposed to do? I don't even know how the hell I'm going to be able to see that girl again… damn it, this is all too much I'm gonna go to bed… The mysterious assassin's backstory will be revealed in the next upcoming episode…
