Spying

Traveling on the rooftops can have a toll on one, but she really wanted to get to the buildings as soon as possible. Her eyes showing determination. She prayed that she could get there in time, but with the help of Yuri, she shouldn't have too much of an issue.

The duo had taken twenty minutes to get to where they needed to be. They didn't know what happened to the heroes not did they want to know what happened. They looked at the various buildings, trying to figure out where the heroes were captive. She counted the number of building possibilities and looked at Yuri. "There are ten buildings that I can tell could hold them. Let's split them in half so we search five buildings each"

Yuri watched her and nodded, flying over towards the farther five of the buildings leaving Maria on her own. Rose eyes gazed at the buildings as she started to run around each of them for entrances and anything suspicious. Each building she looked at had the same appearance which caused her to frown. "Honestly…? Why are they all the same? That can't really be possible to have them the exact way…" she trailed off, looking around a bit more carefully.

During her endeavors, Yuri was having the same issue as well. Each building was looking the exact same for him causing a sigh of annoyance to escape the lips of the masked Lunatic. He let flames surround him as he started to go through the walls of one building before he left to another to see if it was a trick or if they really were the same. He moved to the building beside the one he burned and calmly headed to the same place he burned the wall. He gave a slight growl as he stared at the wall before him. "It's a damn trick… must be a NEXT doing this" he concluded.

Maria squeaked slightly when a sudden hole appeared where Lunatic could be. She blinked and gave a slight growl at it. "Thanks for proving my theory, Yuri. Now that we know this is a trick, which one is the real building holding them?"

The two left their buildings and met at an unspoken rendezvous. They looked at each other. "Okay, so I made the burn and I figured that there is a NEXT behind the kidnapping of the heroes. Should we burn a building down and see if the rest follow in tow? It might be that the real building sends the same things to the others. If that is the case then let's go to the two that I inspected."

Maria looked at him and nodded. "Okay. Well, we don't burn them down… We take a wall down and see if the others follow. Preferably one on the first floor"

Yuri chuckled and nodded. "Alright. Let's hurry on and see if we can find it"

The two arrived at their respected buildings and Maria threw a kinetic explosive at the wall before her to see if anything happened. "Yuri, you got anything?"

The male was silent as he stood there. "Nothing… How about this?" He put his hand through the wall to leave a handprint.

Maria ran to Yuri in the neighboring building and looked at him. "Dude, this is the real building. Let's find the hidden place of the heroes!"

Yuri nodded and they started to run around the place to try and figure out where the heroes could be. The duo searched each room and Maria slowed down, holding her waist. She sighed and looked around the first floor one last time. "Yuri… the wall looks really off" she was looking towards a miscolored wall, but it was still quite similar.

"What do you mean? They look the same"

"No… That wall… It's different" She walked towards the darker wall and touched it.

She put her head against the wall and gently tapped at it. She gave a gasp and stood straight up. "There's a hidden hall down here"

Yuri walked to the wall and burned his way through it and turned to look at her. "My lady" he waited for her.

She took a breath and looked at the wall, punching it so she could change outfits. "I don't want them to see me… might as well blend in a bit more than you, right Yuri?" she smirked and stepped through the hold, ruby eyes locking onto his mask. "Besides… I have to save my friends by any means possible, even if that means being an anti-hero"
