The pair made their way down the stairs, Yuri leading the way. They were both looking around, amazed but also annoyed. How could they miss something so huge?
They turned around corners, listening to their surroundings. Everything was too quiet, even for the two who tended to be so quiet themselves. They arrived at a split in the room. They looked at each other. "Which way do you suppose we go?"
Yuri watched her and shrugged. "Why don't we split up again? You go to the left and I go to the right. Either we find heroes or we find the man who did this"
"Or we find heroes both ways" she smiled at him. She was clearly being a smartass towards the judge, but she didn't really care and clearly, Yuri didn't either otherwise, he would have said something back.
They both decided to split up going down each hall. Yuri had seen a lot of cells, well four of them. He walked to a cell to look inside. He saw an abnormal amount of green. "Wild Tiger… They must have split the brutes and the softies up between the halls."
Maria in the other hall ran to a cell to look inside to see Ivan in there. "Ah! Ivan!" She stared at him.
His eyes were full of despair until he looked up at her. They brightened up and he smiled small. "Nice of you to come, Maria… Go on and get the guy who did this. Maybe free us"
"That's what I was planning on doing, silly" She hummed. "Now, uhh… stay put? I'll be back" she didn't know what to say to him in this case so she quickly ran off after she said what she said.
There was a loud growl the hall over as Kotetsu was by the cell window. "Lunatic!? You're here!? Why you of all people?"
"You're welcome" he spoke plainly as he made his way down the hall.
Just what he wanted. The headache of Kotetsu Kaburagi. The halls, even if they split, met together at the end. The pair didn't want the others to really be loud to their arrival so they decided that it would be best to avoid the others. "Did you see a switch or anything to release them?"
Yuri shook his head and looked at a final door. "Perhaps there is something in that room that could do something?"
She looked at the door then to Yuri. "Alright, let's check there… Hopefully, we can get them out soon" she smiled faintly as she reached forward to open the door.
Yuri stood to the side as she opened the door and stepped inside. The room was dark with a large number of televisions showing the captive heroes. The pair walked inside and started to search for anything that could help. They didn't find anything so they walked towards the screens with more caution than before. "You think?"
"Possibly"
"But what if?"
"Then we find another way"
"Alright… Thank you for being here, Yuri"
"Don't thank me just yet. Wait until they're out of here"
Maria nodded and started to press buttons and flip switches. Eventually, the screens showed collars being removed off the heroes and the doors flying open. She smiled as she watched this scene. Yuri watched with her, both of them not really realizing that the captor was behind them with multiple clones of himself.
