Further Escalation in War

~~~(POV: Satele Shan)~~~
~~~(Location: Coruscant, Senate Chambers)~~~

The War is reaching a new high, and the Senators that I watch debate still protest against the action. Most are worried about the Treaty of Coruscant, but the War has already started again. This meeting is to determine whether or not to declare War on The Empire officially. "General Garza told me you about the War... How it's leaving its Cold War state..." A fellow Master, Kellia Murel, speaks.

We're viewing from an observation deck and listening to the bickering that goes on below us. "Yes... She did... However, the Senate is reluctant to respond to everything The Empire has done. They're scared if we're ready for this..." I understand them, but I've come to learn from my old Padawan's actions... A government does not halt him.

Nathan is planning his own attacks on The Empire, and while he's acting in emotion and a rash sense of revenge, he's doing the right thing... "Where do you suggest the Empire will attack next? Ever since Nathan drove them off Balmorra, they've been keeping away from Tatooine and any worlds close to it." Whether Nathan has intended for it or not, he's helping us.

The Empire has divided its attention, and we're no longer its sole enemy. "That all depends on The Dark Council. They've already started an incursion on Belsavis. Darth Marr and Darth Jadus are wreaking havoc on our forces. They might find what they're looking for on Belsavis and make another bold move..." Darth Marr and Darth Jadus are the strongest on The Dark Council.

My own Master was killed by a future member of The Dark Council. Darth Malgus ended him above Korriban, and the Sith Empire Returned. "All these debates are what will lose us this War... We stand here, waiting for a decision while the Sith Empire moves." Kellia is a bit passionate for a Jedi Master, but more in her opinions and not her actions. There is a difference.

She's not wrong in her statement, but Jedi have no power in the political scene of The Republic. "You're not wrong, Kellia... Eventually, they'll have to accept the Treaty of Coruscant is null and void now. When these leaders and politicians do, we'll respond to all The Empires moves." We are resisting where we can in the galaxy.

Right now, the only thing helping us is The Empire's fear of Nathan. Nathan is a famous man these days, and his actions on Balmorra have caused chaos in both The Empire and The Republic. "Why don't we open talks with The Empire?! It's a better course than War!!" A new argument breaks out, and the foolishness that Nathan saw is becoming more apparent to me.

There are times that I wish I could speak to him... Even though I was his teacher, and I taught him a lot. There have been things that I've learned. My ridge Jedi Code and Philosophy is one of the things I've questioned. "These debates will continue for the remainder of the day... Should we leave?" I want to, but we need to stay and wait for the decision.

The knowledge of my past life is coming back to me more and more. Information about this era and the people in it. My mind is adjusting to the influx of information and is giving it to me after it settles in. "Tenebrae, Vitiate, Valkorion... The names of the man I'm after, but with all this new information in mind. I doubt he's the one that killed them." My anger blinded me.

Now that I have information about the future, The Sith Emperor doesn't hold interest in a single being. No matter how powerful, his ego and pride won't allow him. He didn't order my parents' deaths... That means someone is manipulating me from the shadows. Someone in either The Empire or The Republic... It's hard to say...

The Force is telling me that I'm right, but it's not being specific about which one... Perhaps both? My knowledge about this era of Star Wars is still coming to me, but I remember an organization... The Star Cabal... Could they be the ones pulling these strings? The Force only keeps telling me I'm right... There is still a month and a half before my fleet is ready. Time to find some answers...
