Freedom

~~~(POV: Nathan Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: 13th Floor of Star Cabal Base, Uncharted Space)~~~

Everyone in the room has died a slow and painful death, and I can say with honesty that it's been the most satisfying thing to do. Killing the men and women that murdered my parents, and destroying The Star Cabal at its core.

My attention falls to the leader, and I see that he's given up on life. After healing him, I made him watch everyone be killed. All in creative ways.

Some might call this sadistic and unnecessary, but if your Mom and Dad were tortured, murdered, and used to manipulate you. You'd feel the same way I do after getting over the feeling of loss. All that will remain is blinding hate and rage.

One that fuels you to complete revenge. Forgiving people that do this sort of thing isn't what a good person does. It's what a coward does.

That's what I think, and yes, my perspective is different than others because I have powers. Strength in The Force that makes me a God. But I'm not above being mortal in my feelings.

"You've won... Nathan... You've already won... Why keep making me suffer... It's pointless now..."

The man starts to speak, and you can hear the broken crackling in his voice. The loss of will to continue living. It's similar to how I sounded when I found my dead parents on Ryloth... When I broke that world...

"Yes. I've won. The Star Cabal is dead, and soon... All of your agents, supporters, members... Everyone will be exposed to the galaxy, and nothing will ever be controlled by The Star Cabal again."

My right-hand raises... And as it does... The man that leads The Star Cabal rises with it. He's not struggling, and he's just looking at me.

"You know... As an Alderaanian Prince... I didn't think I'd die this way... I figured it'd be from one of House Organa's Enemies... But to be killed by a child with too much power... Let's just say that it's humbling..."

His final words have no effect on me, and his codename was The Prince, from what I remember about the game. But that's all I know about him. I push him against the ceiling, and I hear his bones crush as I continue to push harder.

He lets out a groan that becomes distorted as his insides are crushed. His eyes roll into the back of his head, and his mouth hangs open as his face turns white. His brains spill out his nose, eyes, and ears before getting crushed into the ceiling too.

The sight is sickening, but in my opinion, his death has come too quick. But it's time. I stop pushing his body against the ceiling and let it drop. It hits the table with a splat as blood flies on my robes.

It takes a second to sink in, but as it does. I lose my balance for a second, and I have to lean over and grab my knees as I take deep breaths. It's over... It's finally over... My parent's killers are dead, and I'm free from carrying the fact that their killers are alive.

"This is the first time I've seen your heart rate, adrenaline, and chemical balances in the brain break from their standard state. This must be a big moment for you."

SCORPIO has no idea how important this has all been for me. As I stand up, my breathing levels out, and The Force soothes me. Now that this is finished, I have another mission.

Find more out about Abeloth in this Star Wars Universe. She's my Mother in this universe, and if she's imprisoned for no good reason, then I'll free her. But if she's locked away for the same reason in Legends in the future, then I'll leave her where she is.

A lot has come back to me in terms of memories and information from my old life regarding Star Wars. And for the first time in a long time, I'm excited. Killing my parent's murderers wasn't exciting. It was freeing.

"Were leaving this place, SCORPIO. Prepare for its detonation and the upload of all the names and identities of the members on our list. Once we're back on the ship, set a course for Alderaan. There are things I need to do there."

We leave the station, and she does as I ask. The reason we're going to Alderaan is because of The Killik's. They know about Abeloth, The Ones, and The Mortis Gods. They helped The Ones seal Abeloth. Besides, it'd be nice to see my aunt.
