~~~(POV: Nathan Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Open Desert, Lothal)~~~

Nella is next to me as we race on our speeder bikes down the desert. We're looking for a way off this world, and The Force is leading us this way. SCORPIO did as I thought she would. She took the best chance she could to escape.

That would be when I was incapacitated. The moment finally came, and now she's gone. In a sense, I respect and admire her patience. But the fact she took my ship pisses me off.

"How long do you think it'll be before we reach wherever The Force is taking us?"

My Apprentice rides closer so we can talk without yelling at one another. Specific time, it's going to take us a day to reach wherever we're being guided. These speeders aren't that comfortable, and Nella isn't trained to go days at a time without sleep yet.

She'll need rest. Along with food and water. I can sense she's growing weaker. I'll help her with The Force when we stop for the night, but that's a couple of hours from now.

"It's gonna take about a day to get there. When night falls, we'll set up a camp and rest up."

That seems to satisfy her. We ride until we need to stop for the night, and when I finish setting up camp is when I fill her with Force Energy. It'll keep her sustained until we reach somewhere with food and water.

We get up after a night's rest, and we ride the entire day. Eventually, coming to a small town. They have the smallest spaceport I've ever seen. This place also isn't an illusion by The Force.

"We finally made it to somewhere with some people!!"

Nella excitedly jumps off her bike as we make it to the spaceport. She runs inside, and I walk in behind her. As she heads to the place they serve water and food. I head to the droid in charge of arrivals and departures.

"How may I help you, sir?"

It's unclear if this is a droid for the Imperials or Republic. No behavioral ticks or programming to indicate.

"I need a shuttle off-world. Coruscant is the destination."

While I'd like to avoid Coruscant, it'll have a place I can buy a ship.

"There are no arrivals from Coruscant on their way to this spaceport. Would you like me to request one? It'll cost a substantial amount of Credits."

There is no other way, so I give the go-ahead and find Nella. We're in the Cantina, and she's stuffing her face with food. I'd be hungry, too, in her position. But The Force gives me all the sustenance I need to thrive.

"We'll be heading to Coruscant."

I feel like that's all I need to say, but she lifts her head from her plate, and there is a newfound excitement in her eyes. I almost forgot that she's been wanting to see Coruscant all her life.

"Can I contact my mom and see if she'll meet us there? She could pick up the bill for our shuttle there."

I see no harm in meeting up with Marisa again. She's been a big help to me already, and seeing her mother could do Nella good.

"Yeah, go ahead and get in contact with her. We'll meet her there."

She jumps up from her seat without saying a word and takes off toward the nearest holo-terminal. I'm left alone at the table, and I'm currently thinking about Coruscant too.

More specifically, Satele.

The chances are good. She's on Coruscant. It might be a good idea to visit her. I'd like to hear the state of the war since she's declared it. That took me by surprise, but she's doing the right thing. The Republic won't survive without fighting The Empire.

Theron also wants to meet up at some point. He's not on Coruscant, but this could be a chance for us to talk about what he thinks is so important.

"She said yes!!"

I hear Nella call out from the holo-terminal. I stand up and make my way over. I see Marisa standing there. Alderaanian noble clothes and all.

"Hey, aunt Marisa. How are things on Alderaan?"

The war will spread there soon. If it already hasn't. I'd like for her to get off that world. And heading to Coruscant seems like the best idea. This could work out better than I thought it would.
