The monster leaps at me, and I easily get out of the way. At this rate, I'll be battling this thing forever. I don't want to spend my days doing such a waste of time. My attention turns to other ideas. Obviously, there is no conventional way to kill this guy.

My senses spread out, and I start to search for something acting as the power source for the creature. It could be insignificant or easily seen. It all depends on what the Sith did to hide such a source. Knowing them, they would make it obvious.

I'm not sensing anything that would stick out. A simple solution is at hand, then. I throw my hands out and tear apart the room. Lifting every object that I can find. Soon, crushing them in my grip with The Force.

There is no effect on the creature. If anything, it's more motivated to kill me now than ever. Dodging is what I'm resorting to since damaging him does nothing.

"Where is your weakness..."

It has to be somewhere; nothing is invincible. Not even me. Much less this thing. I grip the creature in a Force Grip and hold it in the air. It struggles to get free, but it remains unmoving.

"Time to test it out."

I focus on The Force. Focus on finding a weakness, and that's when it happens. I'm shown The Shatterpoint of the monster I've been fighting, and I'm shown a weakness that I can use to kill it.

My eyes drift toward the ceiling, and there is a subtle jewel in the chandelier that is different from the others.

I throw my hand out and crush the jewel. As soon as I do, the Abomination explodes in a showing of gore and blood and organs. That's the end of the fight, and I actually take a moment to contemplate the fight I just had.

Never in my life did something struggle so hard against me. Refuse to die in any conventional way. The jewel I destroyed is on the ground next to me. I walk over and pick up the broken pieces. I close my eyes and focus on the object.

Then the world turns grey, and everything is repaired. As I look around, the room is no longer ruined. A kid runs past me with a smile on his face, enjoying some sort of game with his fellow initiates.

"This is what this place looked like before The Sacking Of Coruscant..."

As the words leave my lips, the place I'm at is shifted to another scene. The room is the same, but now there are only dismembered bodies of kids and young adults. Sith walk around the room, collecting the bodies.

They're preparing for a ritual. Not wanting to see what happens next, I stop focusing on the object and take a breath. Soon, pocketing the jewels and making my way toward the exit.

"Makes you wonder how The Dark Side can drive people to do such things..."

It's always been a lingering thought... Maybe it's not The Dark Side itself that makes people do bad things... It's how people use The Dark Side.

There have been good Dark Side users all throughout history in Star Wars. But the most powerful are always the most evil... It makes me wonder why that is... Why more power in The Dark Side is connected to darker actions and states of mind...

No matter. It's time I get back to the others.

My stomach has finally stopped turning and burning. Eassa has been helping me as best she can, but Nate is far better when it comes to helping me recover. As I'm about to ask Satele another question, all of us sense Nate making his way down the passageway.

Eassa stands up from my side and is the first to meet him. I don't care who sees and greets him first, as long as he makes this awful feeling go away.

"I take it you beat the monster."

With a simple movement, Nate pulls something out of his battle robe's pocket. Holding it out for Satele to see. I can see her face twist in an effort to channel many different emotions.

It must be a pretty nasty artifact.
