Prologue : Hell summons

"What is this??.."

Paimon asks aloud with a shocked expression clearly visible on his face...

"Let me show you."

Elijah remarks with a serious expression on his face as he tightened his fist and adjusted his stance....

Elijah plants his feet into the ground and moves quicker than the eyes can see, moving at light speed he appears in front of Paimon before he can react and plants a punch that launches the earl over a hundred meters away, causing devastation as he flew and a bigger explosion as he makes impact on the earth.

Other demons try to attack him but he creates spikes out of light around his being and impales every single one of them without flinching after which he moves towards where Paimon had landed in a flash.

The other Chosen do not waste a second as they immediately engage the rest of Paimon's forces…

Paimon gets to his feet with some difficulty and proceeds to dust himself as he takes a look around his surroundings while taking in the destruction caused by one strike from a member of the Chosen...

"I must be wary of these humans… they might prove to be quite troublesome..."

Paimon mutters to himself with a worried expression as he let out a breath...

Elijah drops a few meters from where Paimon stood and sized up his foe, he smirks after making a thorough observation before then getting into a fighting stance.....

Paimon squints his eyes as he was amazed by the audacity of Elijah causing him to open up his hands and create red energy balls crackling with electricity around his upraised arm...

"I'll make you pay for that punch.."

Paimon says.

"Oh… I didn't really think it hurt so bad.."

Elijah replies in a sarcastic manner with a smirk appearing on his face....

Paimon rages and begins to launch a barrage of energy balls at Elijah but he seems to have no trouble with dodging them as he rushes towards Paimon.

Paimon puts up his hands and blocks a kick from Elijah before trying to land one of his own. Elijah catches his punch and lands one of his own which sends Paimon flying a few meters back.

Paimon gets even more enraged and takes strides towards Elijah, breaking the sound barrier with ease, the earth beneath him breaks as he moves towards Elijah with the latter not standing in ceremony as he moved forward as well.

Elijah and Paimon clash with their fists creating massive shock waves in their surroundings. Paimon throws a blow at Elijah which is met with a block from Elijah's arm causing Elijah to be sent flying a few meters but he is able to steady himself on his feet with relative ease....

"You know I was actually expecting more from a supposed earl of hell, I guess you are a fraud or maybe your power was just over exaggerated.."

Elijah remarks in a demeaning manner.

"How dare you talk down on me in such a disrespectful manner….. Feel my unholy wrath you human scum."

Paimon is continually vexed by Elijah's antics and can no longer hold back his frustration as he immediately sets off to punishing him in the way he saw fit.

Putting his palm down, Paimon summons a hellish beast with three heads and nine tails. It looked like a dog but much more ferocious and deadly with black fur and red irises.

The beast towered over Elijah at a whooping ten meters. It's roar sent massive shock waves rippling from where they stood all the way back to the church, disrupting the battle taking place in front of the church building.

"Hell summons : Cerberus… Now I'll show you the real power of an arch-demon."

Paimon remarks with a smile forming in his face.

"This is gonna end badly if we keep on fighting here, I need to take this fight elsewhere now."

Elijah mutters under his breath as he sized up the hellish looking beast that Paimon had summoned while also taking a glance at the maniacal demon earl seating on its head.

"Why don't you come at me boy. If you've got the guts, that is…."

Paimon remarks in a demeaning tone as he let out a maniacal laugh while looking down on Elijah...

"This place is a little too cramped for such an explosive encounter, don't you think??… How about a bargain??..... I heard you devils love a good bargain.."

Elijah retorts in a clever manner, attempting to appeal to Paimon's base demonic desires...

"I'm listening…"

Paimon replies as he arched his eyes with a curious look on his face....

"Great..... So how about we have a duel to decide the fate of this battlefield??... If I win, you have to retreat with your forces but if you win, well you can destroy the church… you get to choose whichever location you would like the battle to take place in, but not here....."

Elijah proposes attempting to bargain with Paimon.

"You're extremely cocky for a mere mortal and that fact irritates me greatly. Why would I accept such a bargain??"

Paimon remarks in an annoyed tone as he scoffed at Elijah's words..

"You will if you want to prove that you are not scared… don't tell me you're scared I'm gonna win."

Elijah remarks with a smirk as he dropped the bait and waited for Paimon to take it...

"You insolent pest, do you really think you will shame a great earl such as myself in this way, I agree to your proposal and I'll make you regret making such a bargain with me…"

Paimon remarks in a thoroughly vexed tone...

"Great… so where do you wanna go??...

....Thank God he agreed, I don't know what I would have done if he hadn't."

Elijah mutters to himself under his breath...

"Teleport...."

Paimon remarks just as a thick darkness suddenly envelopes the area in which Paimon and Elijah stood.

The other chosen notice this and turn their attention there. They are stunned when the darkness clears and Elijah is gone along with Paimon....

"Elijah!!!!"

"Where did they go??"

"Elijah!!!"

"ELIJAH!!!"

"No…"

"…."
