Prologue : Purgatory

A whirlpool of shadow appears and causes a little havoc in the area in which it appeared before finally dispersing to reveal two individuals standing inside of it with one of those individuals sitting atop a monstrosity....
Paimon and Elijah appear in a dimly lit area with mist covering the place, pain and despair is almost tangible in the air with the smell of hopelessness hanging.
The landscape was mostly empty with nothing living to be seen around the immediate vicinity. the land seemed to stretch on and on indefinitely with a jagged land formation.

"Where is this place, I can literally feel the hopelessness in the atmosphere...."
Elijah asks as his eyes trailed the landscape, he felt a certain chil go down his spine and could immediately tell that the location he was currently in was not a friendly place.
"Ho... Wouldn't you like to know??....This is the realm of lost souls, one of the seven realms that make up purgatory… Doesn't it look spectacular??... the atmosphere in the air is just amazing..."
Paimon remarks with a cackle as he spread his arms out to take in the scenery...
"Uh... Spectacular and amazing??.... Yeah sure, why not??...That is if you take totally depressing as being amazing and utter hopelessness as being spectacular."
Elijah replies in a sarcastic tone as his eyes moved across the vast plain...
"This place is completely unknown to me, which would make it a good spot for him. I mustn't act too hastily, lest I fall at his hands."
Elijah thinks to himself with a calm look on his face.
Paimon is vexed by Elijah's sarcasm as his facial expression changed his words and it seems Cerberus felt his anger overflowing as it let out a deafening roar before proceeding to form a large ball of dark matter in its mouths.
Elijah exhales as he readied himself to take the attack being prepared head on.
"No matter what... I cannot fall here!!"
Elijah remarks with a resolute voice and with the declaration, his divine energy level spikes and his light shines brighter.
"Die...."
Paimon yells out just as Cerberus let's out the balls it formed after it had amassed enough dark matter to blow up a small country. The size of the balls where the same as wrecking balls as it sped at supersonic speed towards Elijah.
"Tch, I don't think so…. Heavenly art : Tri-celestial stakes."
Elijah remarks putting his right palm up.
Three enormous stakes appear behind Elijah and are projected towards the balls, they clash and cause an explosion reminiscent of the destructive effects of a nuclear bomb, with massive shock waves sending Elijah flying backwards.
The smoke is cleared by a massive wind and Paimon still sits atop Cerberus with an annoyance on his face, Elijah steadies himself a couple of hundred meters from Paimon and sets his eyes on Cerberus.
Paimon stares intently at Elijah before setting Cerberus on Elijah. The monstrous beast rushes towards Elijah with killer intent causing Elijah to grit his teeth at the beast lumbering towards him
"I have to take that beast down now..... Heavenly art : Divine beam."
Elijah mutters as he points his right hand towards Cerberus and a massive beam of light is fired from his outstretched arm towards the beast cutting it into two clean halves with the beam going on to hit where Paimon stood with a massive explosion erupting upon impact with another batch of shock waves changing the landscape even further.
Cerberus is torn into two halves with blood spilling from its guts....
"Quite unfortunate that your beast couldn't survive one miniature blast, I actually expected more...."
Elijah remarks with a smile as he turned his attention to Paimon floating high up in the air...
"It's quite foolish that you think that such an attack would be enough to stop Cerberus.."
Paimon remarks with a condescending look on his face...
"What are you talking about??..."
Elijah asks with a raised brow as his smile turned to a a frown upon hearing Paimon's words.
"Why don't you gaze upon the creature that you claim to have destroyed and tell me what you see..."
Paimon replies as he pointed to the location where Cerberus had been cut down...
Elijah narrows his eyes slightly as he turned his attention to where Cerberus stood and was immediately taken aback at the sight he saw.
Cerberus stood with its guts showing and it's middle head torn apart but then without warning it begins to regenerate at a rapid rate with another head forming by the side thus causing Cerberus to grow in size and gain an extra head as well....
"What the… how's that even possible??... That was a point blank attack, yet it shook it off like it was nothing. This is turning out to be quite troublesome...."
Elijah remarks in astonishment.
"Ha-ha, now let's see how you fight your way out of Cerberus claws before it rips you to shreds...."
Paimon remarks with a cackle as he seemed to be enjoying the spectacle below...
"Just you watch, idiot…."
Elijah remarks, clicking his tongue.

{ BACK AT THE CHURCH }
"Heavenly art : lightening spear"
Harold remarks as he forms a lightening spear in his right hand and hurls it at a gathered group of demons. The attack decimates the demon group it was hurled at, With it also causing a massive crater at the point of impact.
More demons gather around Harold brimming with hostility and attack him simultaneously
"Shit… Heavenly art : Aegis."
Harold remarks as a lightening barrier forms around him repelling all the enemies attacks with ease. With a wave of his hand the barrier forms into a lightening armor greatly enhancing his speed, strength and agility.
He moves at supersonic speed and attacks the demons gathered around him with murderous intent, he clashes with them and begins to cut them down with relative ease
"I need to finish up here so that we can go after Paimon and Elijah, who knows what condition Elijah must be in.."
Harold mutters to himself with a worried look on his face.
