"It felt like a bad dream. A bright light turned into a miasma of darkness, it feels like it was yesterday or maybe it was, I can't remember anymore.
Why would I want to remember anyways??....Remember the event that took the one I held most dear??...
No I'd rather forget but that would make me a coward, wouldn't it??... Because if I forgot then I wouldn't be able to find her, I won't feel the need to search for her…..
A good dream turned into a terrible nightmare. Why did they have to give us that mission anyways??...
Going so deep into enemy territory to recover what exactly??...
Couldn't they have sent someone else??... Oh yeah, How could I forget the fact that we are the special team. The elite and apparently the strongest out of the bunch.
But then why did we have to struggle so much and even end up losing as well, we were meant to be the strongest..."
A male voice says with sadness and pain resonating through his words.

[Flashback begins]
"Come on Sirius, this is an important mission we can't just back out just because we might face a few obstacles. We have to push through and match forward, OK??"
A lady that looked to be in her late twenties with flowing dark hair and brown eyes says with a smile.
"Yeah sure. I guess you're right anyways.. I wonder what I was getting scared for anyways, we're the strongest, right??... I guess I just got the jitters due to how sudden the mission came in."
A boy who looked to still be in his teenage years with white hair and blue eyes replies.
"Of course we are... The best part is that you've got me as well, so we have nothing to worry about."
The lady remarks as she places her hands on her waist and took a superhero pose.
"Ew, that's cringe"
The teenage boy remarks as both individuals burst into laughter.

"Yeah, the strongest… but I guess we just met someone that had to ruin everything we had planned.
A mission to retrieve the Ark turned into a mission to survive the onslaught of demons on us…."
The male voice continues as more memories invaded his troubled mind.

[ Flashback begins ]
"I have gathered you all today for a very important mission. We gained reasonable Intel from our scouts at the border, it would seem demons have started to move back from the African continent apparently due to some unknown development but that's actually good for us.
During the last war we unfortunately lost the Ark of the covenant during a battle in the area of land once known as Namibia between a ragtag group of the chosen and Holy knights against a formidable demon armada.
Due to our loss of the Ark of the covenant it affected us greatly due to how much it had helped us during the early part of the war.
After much deliberation amongst the enclave on how to proceed the matter, we have decided to send you and your team in to retrieve the Ark."
A dark haired man dressed in priestly garments says as he stood behind a wooden desk and addressed a group of thirteen individuals currently seated in the office.
"How sure are you that the Ark is still there currently??...i mean it's been years so it must have been moved already...."
The lady seated in the middle of the twelve seated individuals remarks with a tone of doubt in her voice which could be heard by all those present in the office.
"You don't have to worry about that.
The Ark is one of the most powerful artefacts giving to us by the Father. It is ranked as an S-class holy weapon.
Apart from its awesome power it is also a holy item which is a good thing for us and also a bad thing for the forces of darkness as they are unable to handle holy items."
The priest replies calmly as he explained the situation.
"So that means demons are unable to touch talk more of move the Ark from where it was left during the last war??"
A brow haired teenager asks with childlike curiosity.
"Fortunately for us, yes… not only demons but all those with unclean hearts will immediately disintegrate from direct touch with the Ark. We have the story of Uzziah to serve as proof to that fact."
The priest replies with a nod.
"Hmm, OK then if you say so but wouldn't it be best to wait till all demon armies have been pulled out, I mean if we just barge in there like that it might not end so well for us."
Another of the individuals present in the office chips in.
"Unfortunately no, we don't have such luxury… We need to retrieve the Ark now and even if there are any shift in the situation over there, you guys would be able to handle it.
There's a reason I chose to send you, you all are the special team of the church, the Apostles."
The priest replies with a tinge of pride in his voice as he spoke.
"OK then, we'll move out at once."
The first female to speak says, rising from her seated position)
"Thank you… I pray Godspeed be with you on this journey into the unknown…."
The priest remarks with a smile as all twelve seated individuals stand to their feet and exit the office.

"It sounded so simple. A quick in and out mission, get the ark and return but who could have let out information regarding the mission as it seemed like they were waiting for us.
What am I saying??... Of course they were waiting for us.
If they weren't, how is it possible that the moment we got to the location of the Ark, we were greeted a few minutes later by a demon horde, it makes no sense."
