Chapter 1 : A Failed Mission ( Flashback )

[ FLASHBACK ]

LOCATION : SOMEWHERE IN THE HEART OF NAMIBIA

TIME : 2:02PM

DATE : UNKNOWN.

"Hey Eliza, we found it, the Ark is over here."

A man dressed in a white coat with dark hair and a clean shaven face remarks as he stood at the mouth of a dark cave etched in a mountain.

There were a total of thirteen individuals, seven girls and six guys, currently standing inside the cave, all thirteen individuals dressed in an all white attire.

"We might have a real problem on our hands at the moment, Elisha."

Eliza replies as she stood watching over the horizon.

"What's going on Cap??"

Another lady chips in as she came to stand beside Eliza.

"The church got really wrong information, the horde that dwelled here never left, they only went into hiding."

Eliza remarks as she looked on.

"What in the world."

The lady standing beside Eliza trails off as she stares at the massive darkness in the distance.

"It won't be long before they get here, we have to hurry."

A white haired teenager remarks as he drops down beside Eliza.

"Not everyone is as fast you and I, Sirius, keep that in mind… what do we do, cap??"

Elisha remarks as he turns his attention to Eliza.

"As it is we are surrounded, Zino seal away the Ark… we can't afford to lose it now, the rest of you clear a path so we can get out of here."

Eliza orders as a dark tall guy with sleek hair steps forward and stares at the object in front of him.

The Ark of the covenant resembled a coffin box with holy sigils embedded around the entirety of it's body.

"Alright... The First sealing thunder : Seal of the Almighty : Holding – The Ark of the Covenant."

Zino remarks with his arms outstretched.

Just then, a massive flash emerges with a loud thunderous bang and the Ark is engulfed in a white blurb after which it is sealed away.

"Alright then, now that the Ark is secured. Some of us would have to go out and clear the road for rest to move through. Elisha...."

Eliza remarks with a mischievous smile on her face.

"Why do you always have to give me the work when you are basically the leader… "

Elisha remarks with a grumpy look on his face.

"Stop being so grumpy and lead the charge already."

A lady remarks as she slaps Elisha's back.

"You heard the lady, lead us already."

Sirius says with a smirk.

"I hate you guys…"

Elisha remarks with a sigh as he brought his palm to his face.

"We love you too…"

Eliza remarks as everyone bursts into laughter.

"So how we doing this??"

A dark skinned guy asks keeping one eye on the group, the other on the incoming horde.

"Humph… Aria how about you start??"

Elisha turns to face a blue eyed lady with blonde hair.

"Yeah, I know what to do... Heavenly art : Deep forest emergence."

Aria replies as she clasped her hands together and slammed them into the mountain after which a large forest of tall trees immediately comes up around them creating a thick covering.

"Death to all enemies that oppose us."

Elisha remarks in an otherworldly voice with his right palm outstretched with an invisible aura shooting out and enveloping a wide area.

"Show off."

Sirius clicks his tongue with Elisha casting him a look of amusement.

"Serayah take the front."

Elisha says.

"Aye aye captain."

Serayah replies with a mock salute.

"Heavenly art : flaming sword of the seraph."

Serayah says calmly after which a sword burning with white divine flames appears in her right hand.

"Be right back…"

Serayah remarks and with that she moves so quickly to blow up the earth as she leapt, leaving the sound barrier with ease.

"Could she be anymore louder…. Yo, I'm going in."

David remarks as he moved towards the mouth of the cave.

"Yeah sure."

Elisha obliges with a nod.

"Yo, Zino spot me a weapon."

David turns his attention to Zino.

"You could say that with a bit more respect, remember I'm older than you and much taller."

Zino teases with a smirk.

David was indeed quite smaller than the rest and so was picked on by the rest due to his small stature.

"Really, you want a piece of me??."

David remarks, balling up his fists.

"That's enough, Zino.. Stop teasing and give him a weapon already."

Eliza intervenes, with a chuckle.

"Yeah, I'm gonna give him…. First sealing thunder : seal of the almighty : reverse holding – Blade of the divine unbound."

Zino replies as he opened up his palm.

Just then, a white portal opens with a blade coming out it's appearance was quite glossy with bright light being emitted from it.

"Hey buddy, missed me."

David speaks to the blade as he took it into his hand.

"…. Be misbehaving."

David says, referring to Zino.

"Still talking ,short stuff??"

Zinc replies with the group bursting into laughter.

David grunts before rushing to join in the fight.

"Caleb join them so we can finish up here quickly."

Elisha says.

"Alright… Low level creation : Savage trademark weapons."

Cales replies.

Two sub machine guns appear In Caleb's hands with a smile on his face as he gazed on them

"I really don't understand why you had to make up such a technique."

Sirius remarks as he stares at the guns in Caleb's hands.

"is it your power??... Leave me to do what I want with my abilities."

Caleb retorts with chuckles ringing from the group.

Caleb goes out and joins in the clash with the demon horde with the sound of bullets coming soon after.

"Why don't you go join in the fight, Sirius??"

Eliza asks as she grabs his head under her arm and starts to ruffle up his hair with her fist.

"If I go in, it would be over before you know it… don't wanna take all the glory while they take a couple of demons down."

Sirius replies while struggling to get free.
