"Hmm, fine then... Wait, you knew my mother??"
Eliza asks.
"Something like that. We never did communicate like we are doing now but yeah I knew her. She was the holder of the greatest scripture in any case so there was no way she would escape notice."
Gabriel remarks with a shrug.
"Oh... I guess that same scripture is what I have right now."
Eliza remarks with a sigh.
"Exactly. You are this generation's trump card and without you, they would fall just like the previous generation."
Gabriel says.
"That's a huge responsibility for a someone like me. You aren't the first one to say such to me."
Eliza remarks with Gabriel nodding.
"And those people you heard those words from were not wrong in their assessment."
Gabriel remarks.
"Sometimes I doubt I can be able to live up to the expectations heaped on my shoulders."
Eliza says bending her head low.
"Trust me you are a strong and brave woman, I'm sure you'll be able to pull it off."
Gabriel remarks in a reassuring voice.
"Thanks but…."
Eliza takes a pause as a thought comes to mind.
"What??"
Gabriel asks noticing Eliza's pause.
"The Vulgate…, you guys were the one that hid it so you must know where it is, where is it??
If I could pass across the location of the Vulgate to my team, they would be able to find it in time and speed up the process that would lead to humanity's survival, so where is it??"
Eliza asks with stars in her eyes.
"Honestly I do not know, after the distribution of the scriptures, a group of messengers were assigned to hide the Vulgate and tried to do so.
But it seems after they had succeeded in their mission they were attacked and destroyed.
So currently the only that knows the location of the Vulgate is the Father but he is reluctant to reveal it's location just yet most likely because whomever killed the messengers are still there."
Gabriel replies.
"So what you are basically is that anyone that finds out the location of the Vulgate is in danger??"
Eliza asks.
"As we angels cannot interfere, yes any human that discovers the location of the Vulgate is in danger though from what only the Father knows."
Gabriel replies
"And let me guess, he won't say anything."
Eliza remarks with Gabriel nodding.
"Yes but that's to protect you, until you are ready you cannot go after the Vulgate."
Gabriel quickly adds.
"Tch, we'll see."
Eliza says.
"Good, now shall we get to work…"
Gabriel remarks.
"So this power of mine that you have been talking and hyping on so much, what is it??"
Eliza asks with Gabriel forming a complicated expression on his face.
"Do you know the scripture that is present within you at this moment??"
Gabriel asks.
"Nope, I don't think any scripture holder knows the scripture that is present within them since there is no way to tell."
Eliza replies.
".....'For God became man and dwelt amongst us'..... That is the scripture within you"
Gabriel says.
"Sorry what…"
Eliza trails off...
"You are God's hand, a human with the power to end this war and close the gates of hell."
Gabriel reiterates in a proud voice.
"Don't you think that's a bit much."
Eliza says with an awkward look on her face.
"Don't worry about it, that's why I'm here, to help you focus your strength and master your ability."
Gabriel replies, Coming close to Eliza and putting an arm on her shoulder, calming her nerves.
*Alright then, let's get started."
Eliza remarks with renewed vigor.
"Good, how about we begin with a short lesson on the source of your power."
Gabriel says as he stands to his feet.
"The Vulgate??"
Eliza puts up a brow.
"The Throne of grace."
Gabriel corrects.
"Oh…. Yeah, that's right."
Eliza remarks placing her right palm at the back of her head.
"Uh-huh…"
Gabriel and Eliza exchange looks with Eliza letting out a chuckle at her mistake and Gabriel shaking his head with a smile on his face.
