Chapter 3 : Garden of Eden III

"Under normal circumstances, Armageddon is the final event to mark the end of all things.

But if it were to happen prematurely, that end might be very unfavorable to both humans and angels alike."

Gabriel says.

"I don't understand. the situation humanity is facing now is extremely unfavorable. what could be worse than more than half of humanity getting wiped out??"

Eliza asks with a raised brow.

"All of humanity could get wiped out and the universe would crumble."

Gabriel replies causing Eliza to stare at him wide eyed

"Sorry what??"

Eliza asks.

"Armageddon is a universe changing battle. in the original plan of things, it was meant to spell the end for the mortal universe as well as for hell as well.

With how things are now, it's clear that the demon princes are seeking for their desired end."

Gabriel remarks as he closed his eyes to take a breather.

"Their desired end??.. What is that??"

Eliza asks a bit confused.

"Yes, their desired end. The demon princes are aware that in the original plan, they would never be able to win against Heaven and it's army. The probability is stacked heavily against them thus no matter how hard they try, they would lose. That is the absolute will of the Father that cannot be overturned.

So they desire to create an Armageddon where the scales of victory are tipped in their favor which is exactly what they are trying to do now."

Gabriel replies.

"But like that won't change anything right??... Even if they cause a premature Armageddon to take place, that won't change things right??"

Eliza asks.

"It would actually. We angels would get weaker due to the massive amounts of evil permeating in the universe.

The probability would be created by them and thus their heavy hitters would return to their original forms as great Calamities."

Gabriel remarks.

"So that's why you guys have avoided descending to help us??"

Eliza asks in a low tone.

"They have been massacring your race as a trigger to try and get us to descend and thus create the stage they need to redo Armageddon as they see fit.

If they get their wish before we have prepared enough, they would have a great chance of winning. They may be demons but that doesn't reduce their powers as a destructive force."

Gabriel remarks causing Eliza to turn away.

"All this while I thought you guys had abandoned us. I never resented you guys, I just couldn't understand why you guys couldn't help out.

It's comforting to know that you guys didn't totally abandon us. Helping us by keeping at bay a much more horrifying calamity."

Eliza says letting out a sigh.

"I am not trying to make a case for us. Yes I agree we abandoned humanity and for that I apologize.

Even though the current circumstances of the universe at this point is man made."

Gabriel remarks without mincing words causing Eliza to stare at him with a raised brow.

"What do you mean by it is man made??"

Eliza asks with a curious look on her face.

"Forget i said anything....

Anyway, you are here to do what we cannot do which is to be the salvation of mankind by using the power given to you to deal the final blow that will end this war once and for all."

Gabriel remarks attempting to change the subject.

"Is that even possible??"

Eliza asks quite doubtful.

"Eh..Okay maybe not end the war, but at least keep the demons at bay for as long as possible."

Gabriel remarks with a shrug.

"So we won't be getting any help from the Father, is that what you are saying??"

Eliza asks.

"Quite the opposite actually.

The Father has given you all the help you need and even more with regards to you all making the decision whether to fight back or not.

Your mother was not able to make the decision to fight back and thus the first divine war ended in a major loss for humanity but now that you are willing.

I will help you master your scripture and finally God's hand on humanity to secure it's survival."

Gabriel remarks while nodding his head.

"Hmm, fine then... Wait, you knew my mother??"

Eliza asks.
