Encounter?

Rudra and Akshika spend two days at home due to the hurricane. They live in Shore Side City. This city was a tourist spot but some major business groups were also settled here. This also made the city a mini financial capital of the country.

Akshika checked the news headlines only to find out how many people suffered. She did not ask for Rudra's advice and spend millions on rescue and aid for the victims. Rudra never stopped her from spending his money or anything like that. The two shared everything. This also earned him some good deeds and these charitable activities provided him unspoken goodwill among the masses.

The company's stocks rose in the domestic stock market. Rudra did not mind making extra money. The two people handled a lot of charity and work very efficiently. Rudra also booked tickets to the victorian nation. Akshika moved her wheelchair near him as they sat down on the balcony during the evening.

The girl spoke, "Ru, the storm may look scary but when it settles, the sky is clearer than before, no?"

Rudra only hummed, he always liked how Akshika would tell him meaningful things. It seemed to have a calming effect on him. He spoke up only after a few minutes, "Akshu, two days later we will go to Victoria. You will stay there for six months. I booked your accommodation in the VVIP ward. They provide 24*7 security and a nurse. I can ask Janet if you want to."

Akshika shook her head, "No, Janet has her family and she is too old for this work. Just give her a good amount so that she can live happily. I will make new friends there." she replied to him with a smile. Rudra suddenly stood up and went inside the house. He came back after several moments holding an oil bottle.

Akshika took the bottle and joked, "Your majesty, you really are a slave driver."

Rudra flicked her forehead as he spoke, "This is not for me but you. I won't see you much for 6 months so." as introverted he was, Rudra never was comfortable in expressing his emotions to other people. He stood behind Akshika, undid the rubber on her hair, and started to massage her head with the oil.

The massage lasted for twenty minutes before he found Akshika was fell asleep. He tidied up her hair into a high pony. He walked up in front of her and knelt. His eyes were locked onto her tender face, a terrible scar fell under his gaze. This scar was also a gift of that plane crash. Akshika hid this scar with her hair because she did not want Rudra to see her like this.

Rudra had arranged for a cosmetic recovery program for her this time as well. He shook himself out of the daze and lifted her in his arms. The cold-hearted boy was only warm to the bright and smiling girl. After putting her to bed, he sat there watching her sleep. Unknowingly he fell asleep on the floor as well.

The next day, Rudra left after Janet came. Today he had to go and check the fashion house he had just acquired. Tony was already waiting for him near the elevator in his uniform. After exchanging a good morning greeting. Rudra passed him the keys, asked, "You did not encounter any problems on the way, did you?"

Tony replied with a faint smile, "Thank you for the concern sir, but it was fine. Nothing too big."

Rudra gave him a nod and sat down in the back of his car. The car started and Rudra's phone rang in sync with the engine. The call was from his secretary, "Good morning, sir."

Rudra: Good morning, James.

James: Sir, today we have to first visit the fashion House, Chamber Of Yarns.

Rudra: Hmm, next.

James: Sir, then we have a meeting with the Sigil Foundation head regarding the annual relief fund and report inspections.

Rudra: Hmm, go on.

James: Sir, the last event is to meet with Mr. Dominic regarding the new product launch.

Rudra: Very well, we will meet directly at the fashion house office then.

This monotonous conversation was the daily routine. James would call tell him the prior appointments and Rudra would hum. Anyway, the vehicle moved through not so crowded roads as the hurricane has passed only this morning so, a lot of offices were still not open. They soon reached a red signal. A dull thud sounded from the back of the car. Tony immediately glanced back at Rudra.

A cold gaze made him get down the car to check the situation.

...

Outside, a red car stood with its front stuck to the back bumper of a luxury car. The two drivers were arguing.

Tony spoke, "Where are your eye? Do you not know how to use the brake?"

The other driver replied, "Sir, I apologize. Please forgive me. I am in a hurry and the signal turned red all of a sudden." he sounded helpless but his face was a different picture altogether.

Tony shook his head, came to Rudra's side, and knocked on the window. He said, "Sir, the person is presenting the excuse of being in a hurry. But arrogance is very high."

Rudra picked up his phone, "James pick me up at the Marina square traffic signal." and hung up the call. He pushed open the door, got down. He glanced at the bumper and spoke to Tony, "Send it to the company. They will fix it."

Then he raised his head to glance at the man in front of him. He spoke in a cold voice, "You are in a hurry, right? I will let you go. Your license plate has been recorded by me. My lawyer will be sending you the repair bill. I hope your time can make you the money."

A silver-gray Mercedes came to a stop next to them. A blonde man got down from the driver's seat. He rushed to Rudra and said, "Good morning, Sir. Should I call the police?"

This man was James. He saw the scene as soon as he got down the car. His words made the man pale all of a sudden. Rudra shook his head and said, "Accidents happen, he is in a hurry. So let him go. But make sure that you not his license plate. Ask steven to send him a repair bill. If not then file a case on him for delaying me. Let's go." the cold faced person sat down in the back seat of the Silver car and James drove the car away.

Tony snorted and left with the black car. The man ground his teeth and sat down in the car. He was about to start when he saw that his companion was still standing outside. He yelled, "Chitra! Get inside! Now!"

This woman was Chitra, the girl who cursed Rudra. Today when she saw him after so many years, stepping out of a luxury car. She was surprised. She had now moved on from the pastbut her surprise became a shock when he gazed at her as if she did not exist.

She woke up because of her companions shout and got inside the car. They also departed to their destination.

...

Inside James' car, Rudra was dwelling over the scene took place just now. How could he not see the girl who left such a deep scar in his heart. Yet he looked past her. He gazed out of the window and a faint smile surfaced on his face. He spoke, "James order me a double chicken and cheese burger for the lunch today."

James replied, "Yes, sir."

Rudra would order junk whenever he was happy with himself. He was happy for looking past Chitra.
