The Confrontation (I)

The next day, Chance didn't show up to their class so she couldn't take it anymore. After class, she would go to Chance's mother and ask what was going on. She was worried about him and couldn't think of the worst case scenario.

She couldn't focus ever since Chance didn't go to school. He wasn't the person who will skip school for nothing so it has to be very serious. And after class, her mother announced about their dinner with Park's family last night.

She was very nervous and mostly excited when he saw her best friend again. It feels like a winner inside her heart when Chance would be at their family dinner. However, she didn't know what to say.

"Let's go, Aly. It's lunch time." Brenda announced and grabbed her lunch box.

She smiled and responded with a nod. They walked towards the cafeteria and as they stepped inside, Dina, Mairen and one of her classmates sat on their spot. She strolled closer and sat beside Mairen, who was smiling at her.
