When the Kaijin approached the Zhen Clan with their offer, they had assumed that they would request the presence of one of the elders to assist.

This would've put a delay on handling some recent public issues, as well as the now restarted conquestiong of the [Lost Monkey Temple] wandering ruins, but rescuing one of their own took priority and needed as much power as they could technically afford.

Which is why everyone was shocked when the Kaijin stated that they would be taking along Zhen Xing and Zhen Tai, the Third and Fifth young masters of the Zhen Clan.

However, this shock didn't last too long once Nepeherage explained her reasoning.
