It

Breaking the stare, I answered his question "No, you can't keep me. I want to leave."

And then I heard his voice, "Why would you want an it?" The sea green eyes one said with disgust. Those were the first words I heard from him. I opened my mouth to say something, but I couldn't form the words, his voice held power just like his eyes. His voice echoed no emotion, but it came out smooth.

Then the next thought hit me like a truck, he called me an it. My blood started boiling, I looked at him and for a second it looked like pain flashed across his face. I didn't know if it was me seeing things, but I ignored it, "Excuse me, but I have a name, I'm not an it."

His perfect lips slowly crept into a smirk, and I heard a growl from Nicolas, who was still behind me. I wanted to turn around and tell him off. Who was he to growl at me. But I wasn't going to back down from this. I stared back onto the sea green eyes. Fire dancing in mine as cold and control was in his.

A gentle laugh interrupted the stare that was being exchanged, "Feisty one, isnt she Nicolas?" The blue eyed one said looking at the darker skinned one.

"Augustus. " Nicolas said slowly. So that's what his name is. Pretty old but had a nice ring. Again his voice brought me out of my thoughts.

"What?" He answered back with a crooked smile on his face. He opened his arms. "Can't we be friends?" He tilts his head looking at me. "Sorry didn't catch the name beautiful."

I answered back to his question. "Saraphina."

That's a very unique name, just like its owner."

"That's enough flirting Augustus." Nicolas said.

"I can't help it, she's a beauty." Augustus said

"Keep your emotions under control." Said the sea green eyes one.

Augustus put his head down, "Sorry Perz."

I look at the sea green eyes one. "What kind of name is Perz?"

Augustus laughs, "His names Perseus but we call him Perz." His eyes twinkled.

I raise my eyebrows, "Perseus huh?" I look at him up and down. "What an old name." He rolled his eyes at my reaction.

"What do we do with it?" Nicolas asked seriously.

I turned around towards him and got my first look at him. He was tall but shorter then the other two. His eyes and hair were around the same color, soft brown with gold highlights. "Not it, Saraphina. And what kind of question is that? You guys do nothing, I'm going home."

I started walking towards the door, and put my hand on the knob and was about my to turn it when a hand pressed against the door keeping it closed. My heart started to beat faster with each raindrop that fell on the roof. My eyes feel on the hand, and closed in on the ring that was on his finger. His fingers were long and slender. I looked at the face, and confusion fell on my face.

"Where do you think your going?" Perseus asked blankly. I bit my lip, how did he move so quickly? How did any of them move so quickly?

"Ho-home."I stuttered quietly, my eyes stared into his eyes. I cursed myself, I had stuttered. His lips formed a smirk. His eyes were emotionless, but I could tell he was hiding them. My eyes fell lower, down to his perfect pink lips. He shook his head and smirked even more.

"I'm going home Perseus." I said stronger this time, and tried to pry his hand off the door. And the moment I touched his hand something inside me clicked. And we both flinched away.

"What are we going to do with her?" Nicolas asked again looking at Perseus.

"We could bring her with with us. I happen to like her," Augustus thought out loud.

"Augustus-" I begin before I was shortly cut off by the others.

"Gus darling." Augustus said correcting my term, showing off his perfect teeth.

"I swear if you weren't one of my closest friends, I'd ask you to get yourself checked. Are you crazy?"Nicolas said , looking at Augustus. And that was the start of their bickering about what to do with me.

"Guys- Well yes I'm human-Wait, aren't you?-This is my life- will you guys listen?" Nope it was no good, every time I started a new way to approach them, they threw off answers and went back to their argument. I sighed they weren't listening to me, I glanced over to Perseus, he was the only one who didn't say anything. He looked like he was in deep thought, his brows scrunched up in confusion."Um, you guys aren't actually gonna kill me are you?" I whispered to him.

My voice brought him out of his thoughts, he looked at me, confusion clearly seen on his face.

He moved his sea green eyes from me to the ones that were arguing. "Enough." And one simple word stopped all the noise in the room, reaching from one corner to another.

They stopped their arguing and looked at Perseus.

"She's not much of a thing to argue over, so don't give me a headache over it." Each word came out of his mouth clearly.

"Okay, then you shouldn't mind me going." I replied back.

I heard a whistle from Gus, and "Sassy." as I was walk out of the door, and this time no hand stopped me.

Perz POV

"Your just gonna let her go, after all that?" Asked Nicole, a bit stunned.

"Not like it saw anything." I mumbled back. I could hear its footsteps going across the hallway and down the stairs. I shook my head trying to get its face out of my head.

"You guys have to admit, she made an impression. By the way her names Saraphina not it" Gus said while chuckling. "Must be hard being told off by a human. What was she thinking?"

I glared at him and he knew to shut up. I walked to the window, and stared out into the rainy weather. As I was looking, I saw it closing the door to the house and trying to shield herself from the rain. Stupid human body, so weak. Turning around, I gave him the honest answer, "I don't know."

"You didnt read her thoughts?" Nicolas asked.

"I couldn't sense something from it."

"And what does that mean." Gus asked this time, confusion clear on their faces. I paused for a bit.

"Means I couldn't read her mind." I said quietly, and looked back out the window, and it wasn't there anymore.
