"You know damn well we don't hunt on humans."

"You rather have her here?" Perz voice was indifferent. "You know what would happen to her if she stayed here right? If they caught her-"

"STOP!" I yelled. "All of you stop! I'm not scared of your evil vampires. I'm only going so Jake doesn't get hurt because of me." I turned to Jake. "And you need to stop worrying. Pretty sure they cant get any more worst then him." I pointed at Perseus , causing a snicker from Gus.

"She isn't wrong." Gus mumbled laughing.

"I don't even know whats going on right now. My best friend is a werewolf, three guys that I met in an abandon house are vampires. And now some evil clan of vampires might be after me for my blood. I swear if I hadn't seen Jake transform, I would ask all of you to check into a mental hospital." At the end of my rant, I noticed I had shut them up and they were all looking at me.

Then Perseus moved his mouth, "You changed in front of her"? His voice was quiet, but you could hear the anger tone in it.

"I don't answer to you." He replied back.

"Do you have any idea what you could have done to her?"

"Why is everyone worried about him changing in front of m-" I started before I was cut off by him.

"I don't care about you, I just didn't want you blood to go to waste." Perseus said coldly.

Before I could say something Jake laughed. "You know what happens if you break the treaty? I finally get to sink my teeth into that skin and ripped your head off."

"Enough!" I yelled once again. I picked up my bag once again. "Lets go before I rip both of your throats!"

"Get everything you need, you wont be here for a while." Gus reminded me.

I sighed as I put my backpack on, no coming back for a while. I looked at Jake, and gave him a tight hug. "Miss you Jake." I whispered. "Please be careful."

He laughed, "Its them that needs to worry Phina."

I let go, "Bye Wolfie."

"We don't have time for this." Persues remarked as he jumped out of the window, as the other two examined my room.

"I'm coming geesh! His my best friend, I'm going away for a while! His gonna be in a town full of vampires, I think I have all the reasons to worry and be sad that I'm leaving." I turned to Jake. "And I thought you were needy."

He smiled  "Be careful princess." 

"I think your the one who needs to be careful."I said back.

"Ready?" Gus asked behind me, I nodded.

"Can you let him know I want to speak to him alone before he leaves"

With a nod Gus picked me up and jumped down from the window, I turned around to see Jake standing by the window. I waved at him smiling as Gus put me down gently.

We saw Persues come out of the woods slowly, "The dog wants to talk to me." He jumped back into my room through the window.

Persues POV

I was about to murder everyone. I don't know why I was feeling like this. Shes a fucking human! But I felt this bond with her. I screamed in the woods, and started walking back towards her house. And when I was close enough I heard the thoughts of the dog wanting to talk to me alone.

When I got back into the humans room, the dog started barking right away.

"You better treat her right." The dog said.

"I don't have time for this." I answered back.

"I just think it would be the best thing for you to do." He continued. "Cause if I get her back, with even a mark on her. You should know your the first one on my list I'm hunting down."

I laughed, "You know who I am, I'm not scared of you dog." and I turned around about to leave.

"I also happen to know shes your mate."

I turned around, grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up. "How do you know?" I hissed at him. Which only made him smirk as he grabbed my hand and tried to push me off. But I didnt move. I pushed him against the wall. "How do you know that!" I yelled.

"What is going on here!" I turned around to see the human. I let go of the Dog, who still had a smile on his face.

"Are you stupid? What are you doing!" She yelled at me. I slowly felt my anger leaving me.

"He's just mad." I heard the dog say.

Gus and Nicolas had came in too, but they stood silent.

"Lets go." I said.

"No." The human responded back as she started walking towards the dog.

"Are you okay?" She asked softly. My inside burned with jealousy, Id do anything for her to talk to me like that.

The dog must have nodded because next thing I knew she was in front of me. "I dont give a fuck who you are, but dont ever touch my friend again." She said.

I laughed, "You dont know who I am." With that I picked her up and started running.

Saraphinas POV

He dropped me. On the ground.

I rolled my eyes, "What a gentleman."

Gus laughed, "He might act like an ass but his soft in the inside."

"Say one more word and I'll shove a stick up your ass." Persues voice said darkly.

Gus leaned in towards me, "That means I love you."

"Why did we stop?" I asked, getting up and dusting myself.

"Well we cant just bring you into the village. Some of them haven't even seen a human up close." Gus said

"If this is going to work, we need you to be seen to less people as possible" Persues added as he took of his shirt.

"Okay what are you doing!" I asked trying to cover up my eyes.

"Open your eyes, I'm gracing you with my glorious body." I could hear him smirking. He threw it at me. "Wear it, its to confuse your smell."

"Confuse?" I asked as I caught the shirt.

"Just in case." Gus said the humor lost in his voice. "We don't want you hurt."

"We being him." Persues added.

"I didn't think you had a heart to care about other people anyway." I threw the shirt back at him. "I don't want to wear your shirt."

"Why are you so stubborn!" He yelled.

"Why are you such an ass" I yelled back

"Why you little-"he started

"Okay okay!" Nicolas shouted. "Calm down!"

"Are you kidding me? It was just getting good." Gus said, earning a glare from Persues and I.

"You know, why don't you two go to the village and explain the situation to dad." Persues suggested throwing the shirt back at me. "And we'll finish what we need to do here, and then follow."

"NO!" I yelled. "Why cant you leave and one of them stays here with me!"

"Because I like tormenting you way to much."

"Cocky little spoiled brat."

"I happily prove you wrong on that little comment."

"Are you two done?" Gus asked.

"NO!" We both yelled back.

"Saraphina." Gus said softly. "We have to leave you with Perz okay, if something happens, he'll be the best to protect you."

"Protect me? He would sell me away for a piece of gum!"

"That is true."

"You will be fine." Nicolas said as he grabbed my backpack, and with that they both disappeared.

I picked up a rock and threw it where they were once standing. "Jerks." Then I turn to Persues. "Turn around."

"Not like I want to see that." And for the first time I actually looked at his chest. Every muscle was precise, and structured. He was buff, with no inch of fat on his body.

"See something you like?" His voice pulled me out of my thoughts. He took a step closer to me.

I snorted, "The day I think your body is even decent is the day I die."

"That can be arranged." He answered back harshly as he grabbed my arm roughly.
