Intense Battle

Bradley carefully entered the building a moments after killing the captain of the special forces. He was incredibly cautious since he had recognised Alvian as a dangerous individual.

He entered through the back door which took him directly to the kitchen. He silently walked with an axe in his hand and an pistol in the other.

All of a sudden, he heard a slight clanking sound. With his heightened reflexes, Bradley quickly swiveled to the left, where the sound had originated from.

But all he saw was a ball rolling on the ground, with its spent force. Suddenly, his eyes widened as a thought came across his mind. The ball might only be a distraction.

Having thought of this, he quickly dived sideways, under the cover of the kitchen island table and almost at the same time, a deafeningly loud gunshot echoed through out the kitchen, reverberating throughout the entire building

"Tch." Alvian clicked his his tongue against his teeth as he thought it was a pity. His opponent had an inhuman level of reflex and from what he could see and determine, his opponent also had astonishing level of strength but although it wasn't to the point of being inhuman, it was almost to the level of an heavyweight champion.

This other traveler was definitely going or be harder to deal with than the captain of thar special force team.

"You are becoming quite the thorn in my flesh, newbie." Bradley said as he hid behind the kitchen table.

Alvian indifferently rolled his eyes. "You asked for it when you shot at me."

As he said that, he quietly left the corridor, changing his position as he hid behind the wall. He wasn't a fool. He had lots of experience and was well aware that Bradley was using this small talk to determine his location.

Bradley's gaze hardened and his eyes turned sharp as he peeked his head out. Suddenly, the table was blasted into splinters as Bradley charged explosively to the position he had heard the voice from.

"Boom!"

He was like a wild bull and he smashed apart the thick wooden wall. Wooden splinters flew to every corner with intense speed. Bradley didn't show any signs of stopping but he was surprised to see that there was anyone there.

In the other part of the room, Alvian laughed coldly upon this sight but his heart wasn't as calm as he appeared to be. Bradley had just passed him by a few meters and Alvian could feel the terrifying force he had charged with.

If Alvian hadn't changed his position, it was certain that most of his bones would have been shattered by the explosive terrifying force generated by Bradley's charge.

When Bradley's body had just smashed a hole through the wall, Alvian unhesitatingly fired three shots. One to the head and the other two at both of his legs.

He hadn't forgotten the fact that Bradley was putting on a bullet proof vest.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Three bullets roared out from the pistol and pierced through the air, flying towards Bradley with astonishing speed.

He seem to have sense the danger behind him. Bradley's face turned pale and he roared out in anger, immediately coiling himself into a ball, and rolled onto on the floor, effectively dodging the three deadly bullets that were threatening or take his life.

Alvian expression turned solemn immediately. And he quickly changed his position, heading towards the dinning room like a slippery eel.

Bradley's reaction speed had exceeded his expectations. He had unexpectedly dodged a clean shot Alvian had fired at such close distance. The excitement in his eyes glowed brightly, illuminating the surroundings with its glow.

Suddenly, Alvian felt the floor of the building shaking violently. He looked around in surprise but then, his expression fell slightly but the excitement in them couldn't be hidden.

Bradley damaged through the walls as though it was made of paper, sending wooden pieces in all directions. His heels dug through the ground like an hammer, on the ground full of dust. His footsteps were loud and heavy, sounding like the drumbeat of a racing horse.

Alvian's eyes cibsttko into a slit and he immediately slid sideways without even moving his legs as though being pushed by some external force. Missing the charge by a few centimetres.

He then quietly withdrew a dagger and slice it towards his opponent's ribs where the bullet proof vest couldn't shield. The small sharp dagger drifted through the air at an unimaginable speed and stabbed towards Bradley's ribs.

Bradley immediately stomped to the ground and the entire building shook with a tremble. His charge abruptly came to a halt as he stood as still as a pole. With incredibly speed, his arm moved and he parried the incoming attack with his axe while at the same time, he pointed the gun towards Alvian's throat.

"Clang!"

Alvian's dagger and Bradley's Axe intertwined against each other releasing numerous amount of golden sparks.

Alvian slammed his own Pistol at the muzzle of the gun, redirecting the pistol sideways, perfect shifting the muzzle of the pistol a few inches away from his neck.

"Bang!"

The bullet passed by Alvian's neck by a few inches, missing its target and blasted a finger sized hole at the wall behind him but his ears were slightly affected by the loud sounds.

Alvian was slow either, the pistol in his arms turned slightly and he pulled the trigger.

But Bradley had seen it coming, but wasn't able to dodge in time and could only twist his body sideways, luckily letting the bullet brush past him but then, Alvian's pulled the trigger once more.

Bradley immediately reacted and shifted his body, letting the bullet hit his chest that was protected by the bullet proof vest, instead of his shoulders.

At the same time, the dagger and axe struggle against each other to continue their trajectory, trying to shove each other out of the way. And in the blink of an eye, multiple exchanges were made between the two men.
