"That was a nice breakfast." River declared, skipping like a child in front of Ace, Vaha and Asher. "Don't you think so, Ace?"
Ace stood there, blankly staring as he placed a hand over his growling stomach, tears rolling down his face.
"Ace?!? What's wrong?"
"I miss her." He mumbled, remembering all the foods his sister would cook for him. Not just her but the cooks in his house there. "I miss her so much."
"Who 'her'?" Asher asked the boy shaking Ace back and forth.
"Must be his mother." River said sadly. "He has been missing her more often these days."
"But why suddenly?" Vaha asked, waving her hands in front of the expressionless boy.
"Maybe Bildarts eggs reminded him of her cooking?" River shrugged. "I don't know. She did die when he was very young."
