Danger

"So this is the last house?" Ace asked, looking at a small cottage in front of him, trying not to show his annoyance.

"We have been walking the entire day," Vaha said, looking at the sun high in the sky. "Well, half of the day."

"And we have yet to find anything even remotely big enough to hold half of the people in." Asher sighed in annoyance, cutting another cottage name out from the list.

"Are you hot, Ace?" River took off his cloak and started to fan the boy with it. "I am sweating so much I feel like I am going to die or something."

"Don't die on me, River." Ace said, hand on his chin. "You are still very vital for me."

"I am honoured you think that."

Chewing at his lower lip, Ace struggled to think of another plan. From what I saw as we were walking around, there isn't much empty land either.
