The End for Binding Bride I

KAHAKU coughed some more as blood still spilled out. Poison. His body was rejecting the poison as his body naturally purifying it. Kahaku snickered as he looked at Joro.

Belonging to the bless of the water god, poison doesn't do much to their body. They only get stunned and be able to take some time to heal but it won't kill them. And if it's a weaker kind of poison, it wouldn't do much.

Joro's face darkened as she must have realized what was happening. Kahaku's smile was wider than earlier.

"Realize your mistake now, vermin?"

The binding bride didn't like what he said and made her face darker in rage. Joro shouted when Kahaku can't help but laugh. Laugh as the ugly face of the whore spider was distorted to the ugliest face he had ever seen.

"Damn, vermin, your face really is the ugliest."

Kahaku's attention flew to Yoshiko's before laughing. This wolf really has a nasty mouth but at a time like this, he cannot help but agree with it.

"Damn! Damn! Damn all of you!" Joro screamed and all of her legs stretched as of it was trying to reach them but then it drew back and slammed to the ground. "Kee! Kee! Kee! You think that was the end?"

Joro laughed again as the ground started to shake.

"Yoshiko! Tamotsu!" Kahaku shouted as webs started to sprout on the ground as if lavas spill out of vulcanoes.

Doing that, they wouldn't know where the web would come out. It'll be hard for the two guardians to follow that. And just one wrong move and got caught with it, it will be the end for them.

{Fuck! Come one go faster!} Kahaku shouted to himself. "Argh!"

Kahaku's thought was interrupted when he felt a sting on his arms and legs. It was a new set of webs that clung to him. Injecting a new set of poison. If it continues like this, it'll take longer to heal himself.

He then calmed himself. There was no use if they would panic. He would help himself with an additional tweak of his mana from the water in the trees and grasses. But to do that, he needed to do hand seals. But if Joro would see it, she would surely pull his hand away. He needed to distract her first and let her think that he was still too weak to move.

It was then Joro started to laugh. "This will be your end, God of Rivers. You along with that puny deity of this forest."

{Just as I thought. She's after Dandy.} Kahaku cannot help but smile. "Who is it this time? Who's behind it this time?"

Kahaku slightly smiled as he saw how Joro faltered. "Ahh. So the binding bride got seduced this time. What did he promise to you? Marriage?"

Kahaku glanced at Yoshiko. The wolf smiled at him as if understood what he wanted.

"Marriage, Lord Kahaku? Who would want someone dating an eight-legged freak." Yoshiko taunted. "As an animal shapeshifting guardian, I wouldn't want to date someone like you! More so to marry you! You got trick, binding bride! No one would marry you. He wouldn't marry you!"

"How can someone be stupid and ugly at the same time?"

Kahaku almost laughed from where he was. When savage retort, ask Tamotsu about it. {Maybe next time I'll ask him. Maybe that would work to Lord Susanoo.}

"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Joro shouted as the web came flying from everywhere.

Yoshiko and Tamotsu tried their best to evade every web strings that joro threw at them. But if this goes on, there would lesser and lesser for them to jump to from. The trees around them were starting to wrapped in webs.

Kahaku looked at Joro who was busy trying to catch the two guardians. It was then he took the chance to cast his hand seals.

{Retsu. Rin. Sha. Zai. Sha. Kai. Rin Retsu}

"Ha!" Kahaku shouted as the surged of immense prayer and downpour for mana of the living beings nearby offered to him at once. Giving him enough to finally expel the remaining poison in his system. He coughed a bowl full of black liquid that he suspects to be Joro's poison. The seals also helped him cut all of the webs that tied him to the ground using the same technique that he used earlier.

He may not be fully healed but it was enough to help himself to fly away from where Joro's waved was. Tamotsu quickly jumped onto his side and carried him to the nearest tree. Yoshiko also stopped and rest at the other tree.

"Your Grace, did you finally recovered?"

"I'm fine." He reassured the wolf. "Now, let's give it a try. It's our time to attack. Are you ready?"

"Never been ready," Yoshiko smirked and brandish his samurais.

Tamotsu just nodded at him and let him seat at the branch. "We're ready if you are, My Lord."

"Well then, help me distract her. Attack if needed…and wanted," Kahaku commanded with a confident grin.

When Joro screamed, it signaled Yoshiko and Tamotso to move. Jumping from the branches they were from, Defending Kahaku's position while attacking at the same time.

Kahaku focused on what he will do. A rare spell that had been long abandoned. Water gods and deities are forbidden to use this to mortals thus casting a curse on it. A double edge sword.

Manipulation of blood.

That was what the spell is. Instead of extracting the water in the body of the victim, it'll be their blood. Having control over all the liquid inside the victim, the caster would have full control over them.

It was too powerful that the God of water—Ryujin—put a curse in it. Casting the spell would surely be effective. But as the caster uses this, he too would experience the pain that the receiver would feel. If death would come to the receiver, the same feeling of death would befall the caster.
