Someone else to get engaged!

Li Zinhuo patted Mi Chan to sleep. Her head was on his chest. Her eyes were swelled from all the crying.

He stroked her hair with his lips curved up lightly,"I love it when you're relaxed." His phone ringed. He canceled it right away but, Mi Chan stirred.

She looked up at him and squinted," sorry." He smiled and pulled her head back as he leaned back on the couch. She also closed her eyes and dozed off to sleep.

He checked the caller Id. "Wang Zhao seriously, you have called me more times than you ever call your Girlfriend."

He mumbled. Texting his friend that he was busy and not at home, he threw the phone aside. Mi Chan mumbled something in her sleep.

Li Zinhuo leaned his face down. "Help me hubby." He frowned when he heard those words.

A bitter smile was on his face,"That's ironic."

The next day,

Qin Si looked at Sang Qian. "Are you okay? You look rather troubled." She asked.

Sitting inside the VIP section of "Lafluere" store, both friends sipped their drinks and chatted, not having any intention to shop.

Sang Qian sighed. "Wang Zhao asked me not to mess things up this time."

Qin Si raised her brows. "I see, this is going to be really messy and over the place." She chuckled.

Sang Qian had a serious expression. "I swear, I can feel it. It's one of those 'go big or go home' vibes."

"Well let's buy a beautiful dress for our Antagonist," Qin Si remarked Sarcastically.

Sang Qian smirked. "if you say it like that then, I surely will have to slay every celebration. Beauty is a gun, that should always be fully loaded, it can protect you but, backfire at the same time. Choice is yours."

Qin Si pulled her black T-shirt over her head revealing her tank top under neath. She sighed," I wonder how long has it been since I dressed like this."

Sang Qian on the other hand was wearing a suit. "I'd prefer a powerful look than sexy one. An Antagonist is always meant to be powerful and that's where you fall in love with them. Not every Villain has to be beautiful but the power they hold is what that matters."

Qin Si patted her shoulder. "I should get a dress for villainess myself."

Sang Qian leaned back. "Bold, Beautiful, sophisticated, sexy; all, at the same time," she commented with a smirk on her lips.

Wang Zhao was sitting in his study when all of a sudden Mi Chan burst inside. "There is something we need to discuss."

He frowned. "Okay. But I always tell you to knock before you Enter. You scared me!" he said.

She breathed heavily. "I.. don't want the engagement to be grand."

He frowned and exclaimed somewhat surprisingly,"what?"

She gulped and closed the door behind. She walked over to him and held his hand. "I know you have sent the invitation but, please, just for my sake. Let's do a small gathering. No media please."

Wang Zhao scoffed. "My mom planned all of this. Didn't you say you wanted a grand wedding. What now?" His anger was flaring up. His voice was cold but his face was calm.

Mi Chan sighed. "Can't you do this for me? I promise to explain it later, for sure. But just know, me being in spotlight can be a little troublesome. Please."

Wang Zhao stared at her face as he clenched his fist lightly. "I do wonder what is wrong with you from last few days? Why are you behaving like this?"

Mi Chan scoffed," how am I behaving? I am normal. You are the one. Also, if you ever wanted to really get married to me, Please just accept my request. Otherwise, find someone else to get engaged too."

Her words pierced through his heart, he felt sadness, anger, frustration, all at the same time. He looked in her eyes as she got up and left. His eyes followed her figure and were fixed on the door which she banged on her way out.

He pressed his temples. "Why are you doing this now Mi Chan!" he complained.

How could he cancel everything all of a sudden, so many invitations were already sent. A sudden wave of stress washed over him again and his head started aching.

He thought finally he was getting married so he would be able to relax. His first day off would be spent like this, roaming here and there canceling everything and sending personal messages to every invited guest.

He had to deal with his mother's anger. How would he explain himself to her? She would feel bad, she was so excited for the engagements. She was the one to make all the arrangements. He pursed his lips so very lightly.

Mi Chan panicked. "God! Dad can't find me now. I don't want to see him. Please!" She felt anxious. She had been hiding her truth from Wang Zhao, she couldn't tell him everything all of a sudden.

On the other hand, she also needed to make sure, everything happened smoothly even in her father's presence in the country. And For that, she had to stay grounded and make sure that she wasn't seen in any form of media.

Her phone buzzed in her hand, her hands shivered as she answered the unknown number. She propped the phone near her ear. "Hello!" she stammered.

The other end of the line replied in a calm tone. "How has my daughter been?" The deep voice penetrated in her ears. She felt a shiver run down her spine in an instant.

Mi Chan's anxiety rose but she tried to sound as calm as possible. "I am doing good dad. What about you? Are you well now?"

The other line laughed lightly. "Why don't you come and meet me in Red capital, bring your husband with you too. It's been long since I have seen him."

She gulped lightly. "Can it be possible after a week or so? He is having an important business project going on which will be done in a few days. Exactly after two weeks, we will pay you a visit dad."

The man on the other line agreed. "Fine. I will be waiting."

As soon as the call ended. Mi Chan fell on her knees due to her legs turning weak with anxiety. "It's all your fault dad." She complained as she held the hem of the bedsheet. She was sitting there.

Wang Zhao entered Mi Chan's room. He saw her sleeping in a very weird manner. He lifted her up and tucked her in a proper manner. "You cutie."

He chuckled when he saw her small pout. He sighed and kissed her forehead. "I didn't even get a reward, it's not bad to steal a kiss. Is it?"

He kissed her lips lightly. "I love it when I see you asleep. I hope your weirdness in temporary." He stroked her hair.

She stirred and opened her eyes. She smiled looked at him. "I am sorry. I really believe you will surely understand me. Please trust me, I also don't know what is wrong."

He kissed her temples. "Anything for you my love." He smiled lightly at her.

She blinked and sighed," your loving nature, makes me feel weirder these days. It feels as if it's all a dream."

"It is not." She kissed his lips. "I know and that's what I regret."

He frowned but she diverted his attention with another kiss. He sighed as his hands traveled down her neck.

She pulled away," You are always horny."

He raised a brow," I am not that sex deprived. Get some rest. We will surely be tired tomorrow."

Sang Qian stepped down her black Limousine. Her black silk dress hugged her curves. Her one hand a fishnet glove which had sequins around the wrist.

Her dress hung over her body, with little support from thin straps. Silk complimented her golden, glowing skin. Her lips painted in red and her eyes had a coat of a thin eyeliner stroke. Her face was glowing and her lashes curled upward.

Her hair parted sideways in loose big curls, falling over her shoulders. Her black heels complemented her slightly longer legs. Her silk dress was as if floating over her skin with every moment of her body.

There wasn't any media surprisingly. She sighed. But the golden gleam was falling on her from the series of lamps.

She pursed her lips as she walked inside the big decorated mansion. She flicked her hair as she entered the big hall. She saw series of known people.

Surprisingly all seemed close relatives and family friends. She looked around and noticed everyone was looking in her directions.

She smirked internally when she spotted Qin Si who raised her glass filled with Champagne high in the air towards her. Qin Si winked. "Here comes my villainess," she stated.

Sang Qian's heels clicked on the floor, as she walked towards her. She smiled and could feel everyone's gaze burning on her. Her hand clutched onto the small black bag. She sighed. "I feel anxious!" She exclaimed locking her hands together.

Qin Si was dressed in a similar wine silk gown. It was rather plain and basic but her curves very visible. She looked beautiful and her wine lipstick made her look even bolder. She pinched Sang Qian. "You should since your future husband is staring at you."

Sang Qian raised a brow. "I'm sorry, who?"

Qin Si sipped the champagne. "Wang Zhao."

Sang Qian gulped lightly as she looked around again. Finally her eyes met with a pair of dark orbs staring at her. They went down her body and traveled back up. She noticed his slight smirk as he raised a brow at her.

She eyed his all black fit. They were matching, she smirked back at him across the hall. He was the first one to look away. She looked back again at Qin Si. "He is not my future husband."

"Who knows," Qin Si commented sarcastically.
