It’s unreal

Standing under the big chandelier, both of them stared at each other. The calmness of the church couldn't conceal the cold atmosphere.

The priests' words ringed in her ears. She batted her eyelids of boredom as a small sigh escaped her lips.

'For all the efforts I made to have you in my life, you called me a Villainess. But you never realized, all I ever wanted was a happy ending for you.

I gave up. When I look back, I realized I never fought for you, and I never tried to be the happy ending for you. Now that I know, I will have you no matter what it takes.'

She thought to herself as she stared at his dark orbs.

"Now you may kiss the bride."

Her heart tingled with mixed feelings. He stepped closer and wrapped an arm around her waist. From this point onwards, they would have a relationship. A relationship, which for him was something too serious.

She raised herself and pressed a kiss against his lips. His usually stoic expression was rather a sad one. His dimmed eyes fluttered with weird emotion. He closed his eyes feeling the warmth of her lips against his.

Wang Zhao felt her body stiffen. Her hands tugged tightly onto his chest. He pulled away and saw tears glistening in her eyes. He didn't let go of her.

She looked down and then heard the crowd cheering up for them. She stepped back and turned around, facing the guests and family members. Not everyone was happy.

Everyone had an expression of surprise and complain on their face. She looked at her father, he didn't even cheer like others. He was standing there staring at her with a stiff expression. The same was with Mrs Wang.

Sang Qian smiled to the other guests and then looked at Wang Yuhan. He didn't look sad. He stared at her with a smile, but his eyes were colder than they have ever been.

He was standing at one side, a few steps back from Wang Zhao. She looked back and found Qin Si and Ji Jin smiling ear to ear. At-least her friends were there to support her.

Wang Zhao held her hand and they walked down the centre of stage to greet their parents. She knew it would be a mess, the celebration has just began. She also knew there was an after-party the same night.

She sighed. As soon as they reached their parents, Mr Wang turned his head away. Mrs Wang had an awkward smile. Whereas, It was Quite the opposite for Wang Zhao's parents. Mr Wang was grinning whereas Mrs Wang had a sullen expression.

Mrs Wang smiled with gritted teeth,"I guess we need to talk, let's do it during lunch. I will make an announcement in sometime." with this their parents smiled at the cameras and greeted others as they walked away.

Sang Qian turned to look at Wang Yuhan. He had a cold expression. His eyes traveled to Wang Zhao. "So you wanted to steal Sang Qian from me?" He questioned.

Wang Zhao looked away. "Don't make a big deal, you have Jin." His words were cold, he himself didn't know what to say and without any thought threw a remark at his brother.

"Brother, I trusted you this time. You're as selfish as you were four years ago. How could you use Sang Qian like this? And Sang Qian, You're also a fool. You said you moved on? This is how?!" He said in a low but cold voice.

Jin saw this and held his arm which he shook away. She felt embarrassed as there were still a few people watching them. Her heart thundered against her chest. She knew Yuhan's anger issues. He looked back at her and when saw her pleading eyes, he simply walked away.

Wang Zhao pressed his lips together in a thin line. He turned to look at Sang Qian. She was looking in the direction where Wang Yuhan walked away with a slight pout.

Ji Jin on the other hand, patted Sang Qian's head. "Don't be sad Qian, he is just angry. He will be fine in sometime. Also, remember who you are. When you've taken a step, you don't and you can't regret it anymore. Live it."

Sang Qian's lips turned into a light smile. She nodded her head not wanting to say anything. Ji Jin walked away.

Qin Si on the other hand was watching the scene. She smiled and walked to Sang Qian, hugging her. "I know, you think I am a bad friend and favoured my brother, but just know that all I did, would save a happy ending not for one, but four people. We both know it Qian, what you always wanted. Now it's your time. You have an opportunity to make your thoughts come true."

Qin Si smiled and turned her head to Wang Zhao. "You are indebted. Maybe I will need a help from you too. And, take care of my bestie, she is the sweetest. If you make her cry, I will make sure you pay back. She is the best for you. Just try to see the Sang Qian, you'd never seen before." Her words held a warning.

Wang Zhao smiled lightly. "Okay." He was thinking about Qin Si's words. She is the sweetest? His eyes darted to Sang Qian. She waved at Qin Si, who simply walked away.

Wang Zhao and Sang Qian were left behind. Sang Qian turned her head to look at him. "It's unreal." She muttered.

"You took responsibility for the wedding, I will take yours. From now on, I want you to respect this relationship as it is." He remarked.

She nodded her head absent minded. She didn't notice the depth of his words. She was busy thinking about how disappointed almost everyone is.

He offered her his arm. "There is media, remember?" He said with a stoic face.

She nodded again and wrapped her arm around his and they walked side by side. She couldn't help the funny feeling in her stomach. It was all true.

When they passed by the guests. Everyone complimented them. They would smile back at everyone.

Her heart raced in her chest. 'Li Zinhuo's wish was also granted.' She thought to herself and a genuine smile was on her lips. She knew how deeply he loved Mi Chan. Li Zinhuo deserved her.

If she was a Villainess, then he was no less. He won Mi Chan too. In the end, he decided for a happy ending for himself and for her.

Sang Qian looked at her parents in front of her. They were both ranting about how sudden and surprising everything was. Mr Sang stepped closer to her.

Pack!

Sang Qian felt a sting on her cheek. She placed her hand to lessen the pain. She was at a verge of breaking down.

"You never fail to disappoint me!" Mr Sang said in disappointment.

Mrs Sang was shocked, she looked at her daughter. "I am proud of you." She said. Sang Qian raised her head and nodded. "Thanks mom."

Her mother hugged her closer to herself. Sang Qian didn't even blink. She dried the tears in her eyes. Suddenly they heard the door burst open.

Wang Zhao entered the room, he looked at Sang Qian. The red print on her cheek made it clear what had happened. He felt bad for her. Why was she the one paying for him?

He walked to her side and pulled her behind him. His eyes were cold as he stared at Mr Sang. "She is not only your daughter, but my wife too. You better keep your hands off her from now. It's the last time this happened and I don't really care how rude I sound right now. Keep in mind what I just said."

He looked at Sang Qian. She was quiet. He wondered how could she never speak in front of her father. She gulped and didn't once look up. All of a sudden she stepped back and shook his hand away.

She curled her fists and looked at her father. "I will never make an effort to even try to fulfill your expectations from now on. Not only yours, anyone's. If you expect something, make sure you have a cure for it." She said without any filter. She didn't care anymore. She muttered without even thinking twice and instant regret was on her face.

She ignored the feeling and ran outside. Wang Zhao was also kind of surprised but amused at the same time. He bowed lightly. "I am sorry Mom and dad, but I left her here with you because I thought you needed to clear this whole situation. Please, don't repeat the same thing again. I should get going I guess."

He ran after her and noticed that she was running inside the hotel. He sighed. "Do you even know where the room is?"

She stopped in her track. She looked back with a rather angry expression. Her lips quivered.

He walked to her and grabbed her hand. "Let's go."

She didn't protest at all. Soon, they were standing in front of the room. He swiped the card and they both entered. He turned to look at her. "I have cancelled the evening party. It is postponed to next week."

His voice turned cold all of a sudden. She frowned and entered the room. As soon as she did, she stepped out of her heels. The height difference between them suddenly increased.

She looked back at him. "It's all your fault." She muttered.
