Messing Around

Apryl was vaguely aware of the fact that the scent of the wolf was familiar to her but didn't have much time to process this before it let out a low gruff sound and suddenly licked the side of her face causing the tension in the situation to disappear almost instantly.

The wolf seemed intent to do it again, but was interrupted when another lighter blur bumped into it and effectively knocked it off of Apryl. Nipping and snapping followed this interaction but it sounded more like two pups playing and bickering than it did a serious fight.

Sitting up, Apryl saw the two wolves tumbling with each other on the floor seeming to be quite enjoying themselves and unaware of everything else that as going on around them.

"Callum and Keith." she said their names aloud when she realized who the two wolves must've been. Hearing their names, they both stopped what they were doing to turn and look at her at the same time. Of course it would be them. It obviously didn't take them that long to become comfortable in this new place and start enjoying themselves. Keith came back over with his tail wagging slightly, he nudged her shoulder with this nose.

"You should join us." He told her as she looked at her expectantly. Apryl wasn't certain about that however. It certainly did look like a lot of fun what they were doing, but she hadn't come here with the intention of having fun. There were still other things that she needed to take care of. Callum also came over and gave her an intent look that said he wanted her to join them as well.

"How about next time? There are still somethings that I need to take care of." She replied, standing up so that she could dust her clothes off. Thankfully she hadn't been close enough to the water that she had to worry about having any mood on her pants.

"When next time? Won't your family be here next time? That means we probably wouldn't be able to do this." Callum said as he circled around Apryl's legs intent on trying to change her mind.

"Actually, that might still be possible since there's another floor yet in this place that could be used for those who wanted to be away from the pups for a while." Chester's voice suddenly cut into the conversation. Callum's ears perked up and he turned to look over at the taller werewolf with an excited look in his eyes. He had a sudden strong urge to pounce on the other as his attention shifted from Apryl over to the other.

Chester only barely realized what the smaller werewolf wanted to do but not soon enough to stop him from bowling into him and effectively knocking him down as he didn't have a chance to ground his feet on the floor.

"Callum." Chester warned as the small wolf's tag wagged excitedly while he kept his front feet solidly planted on the larger wolf's chest. It was one of the few times were Callum was the one in the position of having more power when he was in his wolf form while the other was still a human.

Callum didn't pay any heed to warning however and decided inside to lick the side of the other's face when he attempted to sit up. He tried to push the other's muzzle away, but the smaller wolf was persistent about it.

"Join me then if you want me to stop." He taunted as he opted to nuzzle the other's hand before licking it and nipping his fingers.

There were very few times that Callum had gotten the chance to see the other's wolf form and now that there was an opportunity for it, he wanted to take advantage of it if he could convince the other to join him.

"I'm still on work duty right now. I don't have the time to be messing around today." Chester replied as he pushed the other's face away again. He tried to sound annoyed but the situation but it was hard when the person who was bugging him was Callum.

Keith had the sense to know better than to get too close to the other werewolf even though he wanted to join in the fun. Chester would've truly gotten annoyed if Keith had joined Callum in annoying the other.

"And this is why everyone who meets you thinks that you're not fun." Callum said rather dramatically as he flopped on top of the other werewolf. He didn't weigh all that much, but it was enough to make it hard for Chester to move easily.

"You're the only one who says that about me, everyone else doesn't talk much to me remember because they think I'm mean?" Chester reminded the smaller wolf as he managed to roll on to his side and cause the other to tumble on the floor.

Feeling wounded that the other wouldn't humor him, Callum decided that he wouldn't move from the place that Chester had dropped him at and instead would pout and ignore the other since hurt his feelings.

Chester didn't have to look at his clothes before he turned his attention back to Apryl to know that he was going have to get them properly washed as he was certain he was covered in hair thanks to Callum.

"Do you think that your family would agree to stay here with the safety measures and such that we have in place?" Chester asked. Keith unlike his friend was sitting next to Apryl listening as the two werewolves in human form spoke.

"It might take a little bit to convince her, but I don't think that she'll be against it if she's certain that it would be completely safe for the pups more than herself." Apryl replied, she was fairly certain of the fact that her mother would actually love this place, especially for the pups.

"The only sticking point might be getting her to be able to meet you guys without Brian finding out or being able to tell that someone unfamiliar was around when he wasn't there." This was the one part that Apryl wasn't sure how to get around as she knew her mother would most likely not want to leave the pups at all unless she absolutely had to.
