In The Forest

In order to go to the Sacred Fire Academy, Ethan had to go through a forest first. The name of the place where his Sacred Wind Academy established was a city called Wind Dragon City. It used to be the most prosperous city in the entire Sect. Many weapons and rare materials used to be sold here.

But due to the war that took place 200 years ago, this place was now completely in ruins. And due to this reason, the city had declined completely and which in turn resulted in the decline of the Sacred Wind Academy.

The Phoenix Feather city and the Wind Dragon City was divided by a small forest. This forest was completely safe. In the past, there used to be some monstrous beasts in the forest. But over the passage of time, since the forest was very small, the monsters were completely annihilated by cultivators due to their small numbers.

One could go to the Phoenix Feather city by road. A route was established a long time ago when Wind Dragon City was in it's prime state. This route was especially used for trade purpose. But since the decline of the city, this route existed just for show.

Even though this route could be used by Ethan, it will become a long journey. In the past, a bypass road was constructed through the boundary of the forest. Since this was a bypass road, it will take a long time to travel between the two cities. And only with a better carriages, one could travel quickly between the two cities.

Since Ethan doesn't have such luxury, he had to go by walk. And he had no money with him. The only money he had was in New Zealand dollars. It was the New Zealand's currency. But he highly doubt that the currency of New Zealand could be exchanged for the local currency of this world.

Ethan finally entered the forest after a quick walk for three hours after starting from the Sacred Wind Academy. Since now he is a cultivator who reached the 5th Level of Elementary Stage, despite walking for around 50 km, he didn't feel any tiredness or exhaustion. He was not sweating even for a least bit.

He just followed the navigation route given to him by the system. From here, he had to walk for around 50 km to reach the Phoenix Feather City. It was a long journey. But he was not in a rush.

After working for another three hours, he was deep within the forest. He would have felt that he was lost if it wasn't for the navigation route from the system. So he was relaxed. He was not in a panic or anything.

Even back on earth he used Google maps on multiple occasions. But for a long journey, if one didn't have things like power banks or chargers, then their smartphones would run out of charging. This is a possibility.

But his system runs all the time. And it does not require any type of charging or power system. So he was not worried about it at all.

After entering deep into the forest, he decided to take some rest. It's not that he was tired. But system gave him a warning that if he keeps on working like this continuously, even though he was a cultivator now, he will definitely cause some damage to his body.

He immediately decided to take rest since he was not in a rush. He wanted to become the strongest person trying to surpass heaven if possible. So small matters which has thin possibility to hinder his cultivation journey also matters when he is walking on the path of the cultivation. This is a reason why he decided to take rest.

He found a giant tree and sat under it while leaning against it. After sitting on the ground, since he had nothing to do, he felt a little bored. Back on earth, even though he never interacted with others much, he at least found his company in the form of cultivation novels and PC games.

But right now in the forest, since he had nothing to do, and since he doesn't even have a smartphone, he was bored to sit like a stupid dog. He sighed and opened his stats to check again.
