He was attacking nonstop. And the monster was evading all his attacks. The monster was moving backward while dodging all of Ethan's attacks. Ethan was clever enough to see this. So he merged the gap between them while both attacking and merging the gap.

But he still had the feeling that something was wrong. He felt as if this monster was playing tricks on him. He had a reason for his belief.

First of all, this monster lost its tail. That means, it should be in pain. If someone lost their body part, they will go crazy and be attacked madly. But this monster didn't go crazy at all. It did not attack him either. It is just calmly evading him. Its blood red eyes had no traces of anger. This monster was completely calm and was with a rational mind.

Ethan knew that the fall of this monster is just temporary. If he was at his peak, then he would have taken the advantage. But his injuries were not small either. He couldn't move properly.
