Ethan was not excited to see this. Instead, he became serious. He knew the situation regarding the Library in the Sacred Wind Academy. The Library was not opened for the past 60 years. It was sealed for some reason. And it was opened by him very recently.
Ethan always had some doubts.
The library remained closed for the past 50 years. He opened the Library because he took the duty to open and run it.
And his question is, did the Academy issue the job of running the Library before he arrived at the Sacred Wind Academy?
If other students took the job of a Librarian, then who are they?
Judging from how the Library was when he opened it, he knew that no one opened it in the past 50 years. So, did the academy open the Library at least once in the past 50 years after that major incident which involved that Vicious Lord?
Let's say that, the Academy was never opened in the past 50 years and opening it when he arrived was a mere coincidence. Then, did neither faculty nor students ever demand the opening of the Library?
For any institution, the Library plays an important role. And the Library should exist in any Academy.
Ethan never believed that the Library remained closed for the past 50 years just because the current Principal wanted to hide the recording crystal of his predecessors there.
And he already had an incomplete mission issued by the System asking him to find the traitors in the Academy.
So, why there is any need to send the traitors to this small and fallen academy? What is their purpose?
This question always worried Ethan. And Ethan could think of only one answer right now.
Secret!
The Library is hiding a huge secret. And to find this secret, the spies were deployed to the Academy. And this secret is yet to fall into his hands.
Before leaving the Sacred Wind Academy, Ethan asked Jenny to take care of the Library. So Library was still open and was available for the disciples and teachers despite his absence.
He estimated that this mission would take some time to accomplish. After all, the Library remained closed for 50 years. And the Academy didn't possess some quality students who would go to Library to study frequently.
But this mission was completed in just one week. How could he not be stunned? How could he not become suspicious?
So, he became serious as soon as the completion window popped.
'Did anything major happened in the Academy in my absence?', Ethan thought as he was leaving.
Ethan sighed and calmed down. There is no point in thinking right now. As soon as he returns to the academy, he will naturally know if anything major happened.
But right now he looked at the rewards he received for completing the mission which piqued his interest.

Ethan didn't care about the first reward. That was a common reward. But the second reward truly excited him. But then his excitement dimmed down once he read the word "Ordinary".
On earth, the RPG game he used to play, the system used to give rewards for completing missions in the form of cards. There are a total of ten types of cards in the game. Ordinary Card, Bronze Card, Silver Card, Gold Card, Platinum Card, Purple Card, LegendaryCard, King Card, Emperor Card and Heavenly Card.
Bronze Card will give the ordinary level of rewards, while the Heavenly Card is a cheat in the game. But acquiring them is not easy. These Cards appear on rare occasions. Even when Ethan completed the 'V' ranked mission and inherited the Spirit God's inheritance, he didn't receive any cards. This is the best proof to tell just how tough it is to acquire a Card.
But this is reality. But still, with the System, he practically had a cultivation cheat. With the help of System, he is progressing at a rapid pace in his cultivation.
So, he knew just how lucky he was to have the System with him. And now he acquired an Ordinary Card as a reward. Even though he knew that the rewards hidden in the Ordinary Card is insignificant, he still knew that it will increase his strength a little bit.
With that in mind, he took out the [Ordinary Card] from the System Inventory. In the RPG game, this card was made of graphics, so he didn't care much about it.
But now he has the card in his hand. And it was just an ordinary-looking card just like its name.
After looking at it for a while, he injected his Inner Energy into the card. The [Ordinary Card] started to glow in resplendent golden rays. And then it disintegrated and disappeared from Ethan's view.
As soon as the [Ordinary Card] disintegrated into nothingness, a System Notification popped up in his vision on the screen which only he could see.

Ethan was excited. With this card in his hand, he could handle any one person who is in the Physique Strengthening Stage realm without any worry. But it is only one time used card. But it will aid him against at least one Physique Strengthening Stage expert adding an extra layer of security to him.
After all, something is better than nothing.
